I see it, that could be good or bad.... looks like it's burning off something, the vent go clogged and its acting like a high pressure valve. Could lead to something explosive. Watch on.

Good morning gang, I don't have time to read newest posts, got to go to dentist BUT

Vodafone is not showing the same view as Mila cam? huh? Anyway, I will be back in a few hours.

What I mean is that Vodafone is not showing that big plume, but Mila cam is.

Working OK in QuakeData. Just spotted this very small area of smoke I had not noticed before - right on the edge of the valley.

Is this a potential new vent?

Edit:
I am thinking perhaps this is an optical illusion.

LOL - and Thank you

So, my question is as I sit here watching spewing lava - why are all those cars and people right next to it? Do they have a death wish? Why has no one closed off the area?

Because they are Icelanders and they need a bit of heat when they can get it! And of course all the extra cash from tourists, not to mention the guests that need to be cooked by that hotel. Oh yes indeedy, there is money to be made - never mind a few 600ft high flames and spewing molten lava.

I have uploaded the help file for using the web cam snapper in Quake Data as it was omitted from the latest version as I had forgotten about it. It will be in the next version, but in the meantime you can download a copy of the PDF here and enjoy some bedtime reading!
