I wouldn't. Republicans have built this debt with the TRILLIONS of dollars added because of war and tax cuts...which is suicide for any economy. Not to mention...conservatives do NOTHING to protect small business as they don't enforce anti trust laws...nor do they do anything about NAFTA. Yes, Obama is on a spending spree. Debt is not Socialism...and Republicans have NO IDEA how to end this debt. The debt cannot end without ending our wars.

More idiots will be voted in during the next election. People will STILL vote by R's and D's without knowing a single thing about who they are voting for...and in most cases...those running are already millionares or lawyers....hopefully one day US citizens will learn.

I'm just wondering how bad we are going to let it get before we DO figure it out.

Cap and trade doesn't do much of anything for the average person. For one...cap and trade is more governmental control by corrupted individuals...most of whom are all bought by corporations and special interests. That is why it's bad. I'm concerned about the environment as well...but putting trust into Washington right now is insane.

It also will create another Derivatives market which was a huge party of the downfall of the housing market.

No way, I mean a real conservative that cares about the Constitution and the people of this country, not someone that cares about their friends in high business places. A moderate conservative would be ideal as long as they uphold the Constitution and all of the freedoms therein.

There is nothing wrong with two people of the same sex who want to have a legal UNION, there is everything wrong with calling it marriage, that is just wrong on so many levels... But the one that everyone needs to pay attention to is this... Marriage equals the continuation of the human race… I think it is immoral to not allow two people who love each other to share everything... but it is just as immoral to call same sex unions a marriage.

Then we had all better stop eating meat..which is one of the largest contributors of pollution. Peta is the only advocate for that. I don't know about you..but I'm having a hard time making a living now. Corporations are set to profit from Cap and Trade...that is the only reason it's all over the news. It's not about the environment....it's about money and a way to break down national laws. I don't want some panel in another country..that doesn't have the same beliefs as most in this country...deciding on how I should live.

Think about who will profit from cap and trade......government doesn't profit...so who does?

The Democrats are no better. They're the ones wanting to impose a fine on people who don't buy into their healthcare scam. Speaking of cap and trade, they're the ones who want to use environmental policy to tax small businesses and the poor into oblivion, supposedly to protect the environment (yeah right). The end result of that will be a massive transfer of wealth from the American people to the politicians and businessmen pimping this garbage.

Same sex marriage? On religious grounds, its not something I can support. However, both sides are going about it the wrong way. The solution is to eliminate the recognition of marriage by the government altogether. Take that aspect out and marriage becomes a completely private issue, and on that grounds, I honestly couldn't care less what two consenting adults do.

I was simply trying to make the point that both Democrats and Republicans are the root of them problems that this country has. Anyone who is excited to see a Democrat or Republican win an election should be ashamed of themselves. Neither of those parties have any interest in what is best for the citizens.

Maybe one day people will figure this out and start voting Independent or another 3rd party, as these 2 parties are completely useless and anyone who thinks along party lines is also useless.

It is wrong because it is based on the false claim that Carbon emissions are causing global warming. In fact, many scientists believe that we are heading straight into a new ice age, so even IF C was contributing to global warming, we may then be helping along the race to the ice age.
It is better NOT to act, if we are not sure which way things are going.
Sometimes DOING NOTHING is better than doing the wrong thing.
