It's funny how you link conspiracy theorists and racists as if it is at all the same belief system. Most conspiracy theories aren't based on hate, but on facts. Facts that you obviously have chosen to ignore.

According to you and your "shove it" method of dealing with alternative beliefs and information, any information or statement that is released by either a media outlet (so long as it is based in your country and supports your views) or a government (so long as it is your government and the executive leader is one you voted for or support) is automatically the truth and to question it is a waste of time and nonsense. Is that right? Nice narrow-minded view of the world.

I know this whole tough American patriot bad-ass image of telling people you disagree with they can "shove it" and "go to Hell" is appealing and probably a nice thrill for people who like living in a fairy tale, but believing conspiracy theories makes me no more a Communist, Hitler supporter as talking down to people on an Internet forum makes you right.

There's just one problem. Neither Roeder nor this putz will be tried for terrorism. This charge only applies to nonwhites and nonchristians. If you're one of those, you're simply a murderer, and many in the country will rush to carry water for you.

Conspiracy theorism and racism are not the same belief system. But within this context, they share the same worldview and many conspiracy theories have racial undertones and are based off of racial beliefs.

Facts??? What are these "facts" you refer to? I have not seen a single conspiracy theory that was ever proven to be genuine. If you consider the evidence you utilize to back up these crazy assertions to be "facts," then Earth must be flat!

You guys have not created a convincing case that a New World Order exists. You have not shown any evidence that the Council for Foreign Relations is full of diabolical people bent on taking over the world. You have not proven President Obama is a Muslim, a communist, or whatever. You have not proven 9/11 was an inside job. What evidence you bring up are not facts, they are narratives and fantasized interpretations of bits and pieces of fact.

Its a cultural issue. To this day, people still cannot view the white American as a terrorist, even after McVeigh and the rest. I'm not saying we should start singling out whites as potential terrorists. But I hope we learn, from this incident, that you cannot effectively profile a terrorist based on ethnicity/race and/or religion.

"Real hate issues?" A man was killed by a white supremacist who sought to wreak havoc at the Holocaust Museum. Tell the family of the man who was killed that this is not a "real hate issue." You and the rest are simply unbelievable.

Second, Americans should be more concerned about the terrible things that happen on our own soil. You of all people seem like someone who would not support any intervention into Sudan anyway.

Slight interjection from a concerned mod.

No doubt this issue is going to become contentious fast, considering all the topics we cover here at ATS that have to do with 'Birthers', the Federal Reserve, White Supremacy movements et al.

Please post with the utmost discretion and don't allow the debate to become 'personal' in regards to fellow members.

Well, since a lot of the MSM is now reporting on it as fact, or at least as the ultimate goal, we're trying to move on to other, more pressing conspiracies.

Peace

No problem. I'm very open minded and try my best to understand what people are trying to convey. Emotions do get in the way. But we all must understand that each and every one of us have a very isolated and specific perspective on well, everything. The illusion is that we are capable of perceiving events without emotions. Emotions color our perspectives.

I'd like to present an example that most of us can relate to.

A husband and wife at dinner relating a shared experience to another couple. The husband begins the tale and before long the wife interrupts to correct his memory! They both shared a simultaneous event, yet each have a different memory of it. I try to keep this in mind at all times. It does help me to understand people better. All events are viewed from an isolated, emotional perspective that is not shared by anyone else.

Well when you have right wing radio and tv spout garbage like Obama is commie, socialist, Muslim, NWO, Black panther Christian. That all Abortion doctors are the devil and how the Fed and bankers are evil people and those gay people are the enemy....

and you say it over, and over, and over and over and over and over...

Than why are you surprised when white Republican loonies bomb a Federal Building?

Why are you shocked to find white Republican whacko's bombing abortion clinics and their doctors shot in cold blood.

Why are you totally appalled on how they walk into a new age church full of "Libruls" and kill them at random.

Yet even now there people in this very thread who try to mask their true feelings on the matter with "See this is how they are going to censor us"
"See there go's the Liberal media making stuff up".

When point in fact, (and I could give a rats ass how they try to deny it) they are just like the people who do these monstrous things but don't have the balls to do it themselves, or even be completely truthful to people on this BB for fear of being ostracized.

No one with a shred of dignity would comment on this story and immediately complain and bitch about how Liberals and the media would use this to harm them.

Instead you would champion the security guard who gave his life to protect others, and call out that Nazi scum and those of his ilk.

Janet Napalatano and her department WERE EXACTLY RIGHT. Moreover if you think this will be last event by people like this, think again.

The majority of people in this country are sick and tired of the right wing media and their lies. They do it simply for profit and leave this country divided, hateful and inciting people to take action.

You might call it censorship, I call it the flagrant misuse of public airwaves to incite hate and it should be turned the bloody hell off.

Why is this not a hate attack? What do you think would have happened if the security guard had not stepped in and laid down his life to protect the people inside the museum?

Do you think the perpetrator wished to simply wave his gun at people for giggles?

When one walks into a public place brandishing a weapon and fires that weapon the intent is very clear.

Due to the actions of a hero, who is now no longer with us, the damage from this hate attack was minimized. It's plain to anyone utilizing simple analytical skills that the goal was to kill a lot more than one person.

Why does that make this incident not worthy of being on the news?

You are welcome to propose a debate to the staff between you and I if you wish to discuss whether or not conspiracy theories are "facts" or "crazy assertions" because if I were to bring up facts about the "New World Order", Council on Foreign Relations, Barack Obama, and 9/11, it would be off-topic and derail the thread.

The whole point to my reply to you wasn't to compare notes on many of the conspiracy theories you've chosen not to believe, but to question your approach of talking down to everyone who disagrees with you. You share your opinion towards people who have 'brought hatred upon us' while in the same breath calling them crazy and telling them they can go to Hell. Hating people you say are full of hate hardly solves the issue of the spread of hatred.

This is basically what is happening,as it was said on CNN recently: this is another way to bring jewish fame by zionists who control the media. they are spending more time on this then the hotel in pakistan which killed more people.

cannot prove this was, hate, as far as I can tell it was madness.

Heading in a museum with a shotgun, wanting to kill people all walks of life mind you is madness. Now Darfur is organized HATE... Genocide..

Heart should go out to the security guard sure. Yet are heart should be going to the people in Darfur as well. The problem is, people are not advised of what is really going on there. Yet its ok for the MSM, to talk about some 88 year old man who was nuts.. Whatever I am just saying their is Bigger hate issues in the World right now. We should be more outraged upon the things that are hateful that are already proven as opposed to acts of individual madness.

Yeah... can't prove this was hate...

A man who posts online that Hitler was mistaken for not gassing all the Jews then attempts to shoot up the Holocaust museum.

Nope not hate.

You seem very upset. Why don't you try to say what you really mean? Your perspective is the one the rest of the country should adopt? That just isn't going to happen. An old guy with lots of antagonistic views took action that cost at least one life. That is the story here. Nothing else. What the media does is incite emotional outbursts on both sides of the "aisle". They could have truthfully portrayed him as a decorated veteran but chose instead to portray his questionable beliefs. That says it all. Your views are supported on one channel and someone else's are supported on another channel. That says it all.
