just let.s hope that it will be different
no empty hands for us

i am really impressed by the team

since in germany they always said: young lack of experience
but this proves that young people can achieve great things too !

Germany - so very well organised.

They knew exactly what they had to do.

They have also played with the WC ball for the last 6 months.

Gotta admire that level of planning.

Argentina = better players.

Germany = better game plan.

Gotta say that the Spain v Para was one of the best matches in this World Cup - in my opinion. Fun to watch and got me out my seat numerous times.

Germany v Argentina. I was backing the Argies
Unfortunately they had a crap game plan. Can't believe Germany, with so many young players are already through to the Semi's!

thanks budski

i guess every football organisation was offered to use the WC ball - and so germany used it in the bundesliga

my personal opinion: i am always so impressed how cool manuel neuer takes the ball when it comes to his goal!

but some of the young players have huge experience
don.t forget that e.g. thomas müller, even if it is his first season, just won german championship with FC Bayern and has been in the final of the championsleague!

phillip lahm, bastian schweinsteiger, miro klose have played a WC before!

some of them have played the U21 WC

so they might be young, but they are talented!

and actually i haven.t seen that the argentinian players have been that good.
but sometimes players are good even outstanding with their team and not that well in the national time and vice versus. klose e.g. spent most time on the bench during last season with FC Bayern but look at him when he wears german colors - a completly different man!

they said rooney is somehow living in the goal of the opponent since he is scoring very well, but did we see a glimps of that during the WC`?

A Germany Holland final sounds good to me. A classic tie.

How good was it to see that horrible cheat Maradonna cry?

And I must say Germany look very, very good.

But at this stage it's anybodies.

Maradona makes me laugh, he is a car accident I cant help but look at all the blood and gore....
His team could hardly kick a ball 6 months ago, I am suspecting the performance enhancers were wearing off. You know he spent his career on them, and his coach would pee into a bladder attached to a prosthetic Pee pee so he never got busted...

Exactly.

The idolisation of this horrible man really annoys me.

The BBC and Gary Lineker in particular seem to almost deify this performance enhancing, tax evading, wife beating, self agrandising, gloating cheat.

His very presence at The World Cup disgusted me.

Though it pains me to say this I think for once the best four teams in tournament have reached the semi-finals.

I thing The Netherlands will be too good for Uruguay, but you never know and if Spain play like they can the other semi is anyone's guess, but Germany's last two performances have been outstanding.

I thought I would have lost all interest after England's abject performance but I'm looking forward to what should be two cracking games.

I predict:

Netherlands vs. Spain in the finale, and Spain will win.

Oh, I do hope Uruguay will win. But it'll take a miracle. Germany has not impressed me this WC. I believe they beat Argentina 4-0 not because they were incredibly good, but because Argentina played incredibly bad. If the finale will be between Spain and Netherlands, I hope Netherlands will win. But I believe that Spain will eventually win. Let's see how it goes...

I think we can beat the netherlands!!

I'm positive about it.

And I think Germany will kick spain's ***
or at least I hope so!. Germany has been my fav since the beginning.

When the world cup started I said my fav 3 were in this order:
Uruguay, Germany and Brasil.

Yeey- I predict the final Uruguay vs Germany!
And then we win

But seriously, anyway, I'll be happy. Our team has really played with the heart, like we are used to here. Futbol is a big deal ... huge part of the culture. So it will be a party nevermind the final results.
It's a party already since last match!! really fun.

But today, I think we'll be celebrating the victory over the netherlands. yiiiii

I just hope Robben doesn't dive too much against Uruguay. It really makes him look bad and apparently, though I haven't seen it, he has some talent for the game.

This 'diving' thing starts to be kind of annoying. Yes, he did this a lot during his time at Chelsea, but he doesn't do it often anymore. Against Brazil, people were crying that he was diving a lot, but he wasn't - I saw it just once. People should take a closer look at the fouls that he suffers in attempts to prevent him from accelerating.
