I'm beginning to think it's cool being on the outer fringes of a fringe website!!

Now, that's a good way to look at it. I like that!

We can form our own secret society, stabilize the ATS postosphere to ensure our ascendency and silently take over in obscurity. We are truely the underground overlords.

I like that you guys have responded to the suggestions, ATS really allows brain storming from it's members.

And like SO said there is some limits to the programing so it will never be perfect. But it seems pretty good to me. I like that our post count is listed now, because some us have been spending our ATS points, and before we looked like rookie's based just on points.

Now if we spend all our points, and have a label and we don't look like we just signed up.

All you have to do is make threads. I have more posts and points than you do, but I've only ever created 1 thread, so you have a title and I don't.

People with gold titles and such are people who post alot of threads, particularly political types. As it is easy to get stars and flags in political threads, because it plays to peoples biases. The more polar the topic, the more stars and flags.

Not entirely true, I never post in the political forum. I always post in Skunk Works, Space Exploration, Technology, or UFO/Aliens.

I am not very fond of measurement tools (reminds me of religion, hehehe)! Hence, I do not care for Apprentice as I have been around since 2005.

It is ironic that so many of the ones who are in Bronze status are new 2009 members! So the status markers on ATS have no real meaning regarding someone's real measure of reasoning, or accomplishments. Just that they are "shock and awe" thread writers.

I've been around since o5 also and went from Novice to now Bronze and never did anything except erase my profile and delete all my stuff in the media portal. I figured if no one cared; why divulge any information.

Whoa! Maybe they are being kind because we have been around so long.

To me it is not just about how many threads a person can do, but the content of our posts.

I consider myself a "chaotent" poster that interjects chaotic, but still on-subject, material for the purpose of subltely guiding the flow of discussion in a certain direction while letter other more highly-visible contributers do most of the hard work. I reap the benefits of this manipulation without having had to exert much deliberate effort.

Let us get back to work without having disclosed too much.
