HELLO!! DID ANYONE NOTICE THIS???

2 days ago, the 1st report from New Zealand came in about Students Rangitoto College being sick, 21 hours ago there were some reports (questionable) of positive results for H1N1.

then TODAY we have www.3news.co.nz...

Swine Flu symptoms are now being reported throughout New Zealand from Auckland to Otago, and the Government says it is treating the scare as if it's the real thing.

3 News has been told that a number of Air New Zealand crew now have symptoms, and health officials have tracked down two thirds of the passengers on Saturday's NZ1 flight, which carried the students from Auckland's Rangitoto College who first showed symptoms.

Spain is also looking at 20 more cases after only 24-48 hours www.gmanews.tv...

Are you seeing a pattern here? It is spreading faster than our MSM is telling us.

And folks, if you don't know squat about viral transmission generations, you need to look it up (google is your friend). This is 1st generation in most of these countries.

We DO NOT KNOW what generation of transmission is happening in Mexico WHERE PEOPLE ARE DYING.

is it 3rd gen, 4th gen??? What is in store for the rest of us?

Exactly, no matter if huamns or nature made this, we will still have a human race tomrrow. One thing the people should not do is become hysterical, and fill themselves with fear, bcause then like we know from 911, fear makes sure you do not think.

I've had the flu before. Sucked. For a few days. Then I got better.

All due respect, that wasn't the flu. Flu knocks you out for 2 weeks at the least, you had a bad cold/virus. not influenza. Which is what most people think they've got when they get ill. I'm 31 and I know I've never had the flu, I've been sick for a week or so at a time, but I've never had the flu. Itr's far worse than "I felt a bit rough for a few days then was fine" That wasn't the flu. not in a million years.

From the Scottish Health Secretary,

The Scottish Government had been due to start a pandemic flu exercise on Monday which Ms Sturgeon said was a "coincidence". The exercise has since been suspended.

Why thank you mr. internet doctor who apparently understood my illness from a few years ago far better than myself.
Seriously?

CDC agrees, 5-20% of Americans have influenza. How long it lasts varies on your own ability to fight it, as your immune system and time are the only treatments.

But then again, perhaps we should just consult you, mr. E-Doctor..

Ok, carry on the doom, swine flue will kill us all!!...

Only one thing is for certain: I'm going to be buying stock in Roche Holdings.

Australian Government moves into next phase of protection against swine flu
www.news.com.au...

ALL flights into Australia from North or South America will have to report any passengers with flu-like symptoms before the aircraft is allowed to land.

Responding to the swine flu outbreak, Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon announced today that the Government was moving immediately to the "next phase of protection" against the disease.

"We have now made the decision on the advice of the chief medical officer that we should introduce the next phase of protections, that is introducing at our borders arrangements for all
flights that are coming in from the Americas and landing here in Australia," Ms Roxon said.

Obviously people are over reacting, but they have reason to. though the human race will still be here the next day there more worried about whether them or there family will be. i mean the human raced survived the virus in 1918 but alot of people didn't, and thats what there worried about, where they will live or not.

Um exactly...

I cannot remember a time I heard a deadly flu spreading across the globe in my lifetime.. Can you? Its not panic, its concern. Def. gonna be a buzz on this. The only thing I can think of doing right now is to study the Spanish flu outbreak in 1918, and see how that transpired and compare the differences and the indifferences and then determine how paranoid you want to get. Whatever you do, its something you have never done to prepare for something that has not ever happened in our lifetime.

From RNW: (radio netherlands worldwide)

"A first case of swine flu has been diagnosed in Europe. The patient is a Spaniard who recently returned from Mexico. Twenty other patients have swine flu symptoms. Possible cases have also been reported from other European countries.

European Health Commissioner Androulla Vassilou has advised against travelling to Mexico City and other high-risk areas unless absolutely necessary. The European Commission wants to call an emergency meeting of the EU health ministers to discuss the outbreak of swine flu."

774 people died from SARS.

I don't think that many will die of this.
It's being contained almost everywhere.

Only deaths are in Mexico so far.

We shall see.
