I personally choose to empower myself..looking outside for answers and salvation got very old after a while.

As per Jesus and Satan, why does it matter? I prefer to think beyond polarity and good vs evil, thats a very human perception.

Just want to say, I do not go to any church because long ago I realised that the Anglican church is somewhere middleclass people socialise. I was about 5 years old when I realised that - not that I knew then - I just knew that I didn't believe in it.

And as for the other churches - they are manmade stuff and as such, probably wrong.

Not believing in Hell does not mean it does not exist. Not saying I do believe in Heaven and Hell, but from a logical argument's sake, it can still exist even if you don't believe it does.

Remember, whether somebody is religious, agnostic, atheist or just a non-believer - these names refer to their mere beliefs and actions - not concrete reality for all beings. That's why no one religion or lack of one can prove what is real and what is right.

If there is a God, a Satan, a second coming, etc. How would you (everyone, anyone) envision this would occur in today's world? With technology, out-of-control government, etc. What form would a new Christ take...how would he interact or present himself/herself...what miracles (if any) would they perform?

I doubt it would all happen again, like some suggest it did 2000 years ago...a bearded carpenter in a robe. Would the person be in politics? Another Jim Jones type? A rock star?

If I were the second coming of Christ, what could I do that would convince everyone that it was true? Or is that even possible. If I waved my hand and everything was finally "perfect"...wouldn't people just say it was coincidence? If I worked in politics, brought world peace and then spear-headed the curing of all disease...wouldn't everyone just think I did a good job?

Know what I mean? I think that would be a pretty cool "project". Putting together a list (or book) of criteria that would be requirements to prove someone is Christ...or Satan. The more I think about it...such a "project" would probably reveal a lot about where the human race is today on many levels.

Maybe it would be beneficial to understand how he's communicating and know where he is coming from? If you can have a mutual understanding then perhaps you can be in a better position to contemplate what you believe the reality of it is?
