When you look at the USA ten years ago, people that said a revolution was coming were called loonies and shunned. Today the number of those revolution speakers have grown in magnitudes. Today revolution is talked about by everyone in a serious manner except those that are still dillusional by the idea that they still live in the USA that they grew up in.


The revolution has already started. Ideas are spreading, people are becoming informed, We the people are waking up in larger number than ever before. With the hope of Obama's "change" things will stay calm for a while. Nobody wants to start a revolution while there is still a chance for things to return to "normal." But, giving billions to people that are already super rich is not the way to win over the people who are losing their homes and ways of life that they worked hard for.

It will all backfire in their faces and the rich and their conspirators will burn for their greed.

It will happen.

We just haven't hit that tipping point yet that will cause everyone to resort to open dissent and violence in the streets...yet.

To play devils advocate may I ask who exactly is spreading these ideas, what these ideas are and what they represent? More importantly, why should one assume these idea-spreaders are more reliable than those they oppose?

Its funny how a person who is new to ATS, or at least has a new account, asks the question "who is spreading these ideas?"

I for one, tell everyone I know about the the news stories that I read on ATS and I can tell you that many have started listening, especially after that bailout BS. I even got a couple to sign up to ATS, we were talking about income taxes and they were talking about how they were going to spend theirs. I told them about how California was handing out I.O.U.s in stead of refunds and they didnt believe me till the MSM were forced to report it.


The people are seeing the lies everywhere. Billions of dollars to rich people and we are told it is to prevent a horrible depression and now we learn that over half of that money is missing, we arent in a depression and that we need another bailout to prevent the depression that was to destroy us if we didnt pass the first bailout.


The people are waking up, they can see all the BS around them. They see it when they look out their front doors and see the banks putting forclosed signs in their yards. They see it when they lose their jobs from a corporation that got billions in bailout money and the CEOs of that corp get raises. They see it when they can barely afford to feed themselves.

Neighbors are talking to neighbors. Ideas are spreading among friends. People are discussing what is going on in the world on boards all over the net, like this one.

People are waking up.

Factually, let me point out,Im not new to the site at all, just new as far as posting as a member is concerned.

You answered my question and I found the answer to be exactly what I expected.

The last time young people rose up in this nation and demanded that big-Gov change was the Viet-Nam protestor era. I was there. We had no internet, no cel phones, and other hi-tech devises to promolgate our uprising. But we had heart and a burning desire to shout down the hardhats who said "America, love it or leave it." with "America, change it or screw it."

We were very close to starting a revolution in the early 70's on the back of the continuation of US involvement in Viet-Nam. That is why the war ended. Big-Gov got the message, "Hell no we won't go!" The end of the war took the air out of our sails and many of us then became the sudo-capitalist dads and moms of your parents. I am 62 now and not inclined to be a revolutionary with a bunch of dreamers.

No such passion exists today in the cyber-radicals who postulate on, "...how do we begin?" or "...who goes first?" I know there are young people who are dedicated idealists and they are the ones who have a shot at turning this assault by big-Gov around. You cyber-radicals are to be pittied. If you truely want to turn this nation around, get off your duffs, put the blog aside and get out on the streets. Take your message to the people and run the risk of going to jail as many of us did so many years ago. If that's to much to ask, my suggestion to you is, "dream on little dreamer, dream on."

I understand completely what you are saying. I have done my share to protect my family from any sort of "issue" that we may face. But what can one man do alone. I am from CT and have heard rumors of a group calling themselves SECTION 21 a sort of militia group but have yet to find anyone involved with them. I know they exist because my brother in law is a state cop and he has told me that they are a real group. I only hope if something does happen that people can learn to live and stick together or we are all done.

Ok, This is the first thread in years that has made me post,

Something is happening... We need to act, Our rights are being taken away and we are becoming cornered by the government,

Peaceful protests turn into riots due to police intimidation. Laws are being created daily which question our freedom and privacy.

The last few years has seen a significant increase in all this. Government's have created problems in the world on purpose so that they can enforce new laws which affect us. Something needs to be done, we need to revolt. The world is on its knees.

"The system is not working. The system has failed. The system rewards the haves."

So fight the bad system. Use wisdom to defeat brute force.

To fight a devil you use the devils own traps against him. Put a mirror in front of you to reflect the ugliness back.

You won't see the system working until you first understand how it enslaves you. What's the point of physically trying to fight something when you can do one better and fix the system itself so that you don't have to fight?

The powers that be are where they are, only because you let them get there by having no interest in the direction things are going and they convince you that they will lead you in the right direction. (as opposed to them just using the system to gain riches)

It's sort of like when you are a team member on a losing team and you are the worst one on the team and don't feel it's worth participating because you are the least appreciated, so it's futile to continue. That's no excuse to not try your best.

Those who compete against you for control over the nation want to convince you that you don't deserve to have a voice so they bombard you with entertainment and distractions to keep you unaware of what's going on.
All you have to do to "fight" the system:

-ask questions so that you are constantly in the know about your leaders

-spread the word about corruption in the system

-help your community (what's the point of money if the value of it goes up and down. Isn't it the service coming from you that is valuable? Have you never had to do something for a family member for free without asking for pay for the help? They can't tax you on something that you offer as a gift. But the value of your effort is felt and in return you gain skills and benefits from the people you help.

-stop spending more money then you have to by borrowing from banks. Live within your means. Things vary in value based on how much you personally value them so ignore the market prices. (different markets value items for different reasons - "oh you can't find that thing in this country anymore I will pay good money for it even if overpriced" Things are as valuable as people are willing to pay - teach yourself what items you have that are valuabel to you personally and why. Not monetary value but in how much use you get out of them. Sometimes people buy fancy clothes but don't use it much or have a car that just sits there that doesn't do anything because they don't want to waste fuel) These things put people in debt.

-take advantage of technology: in places where there is a lot of intrusion of privacy, start spying and filming and recording what people say. These days you can fake a lot of things so it pays to have original recording of what you do. We live in an age where you can have your face pasted onto a porno pic. Do this back. Learn how to recreate the effects the deceivers use to lie to you. (on 911 there was advance warning of the attack and they didn't warn the people in the buildings. Let's not warn them they are being monitored and watched)

-stop watching tv. The tv has programs that prgram your mind over a long period of time to put you to sleep. The brain rots when it is not being used, and you get less intelligent over time the more of it you watch which makes it harder for us to deprogram you with truth. Because it will make us look like the crazy ones.

-networking. You can't do this alone: make friends and developer connections with people you trust so that if one of you enters into harsh times you have a safety net. In times of crisis groups can survive better than a lone person who only has themselves to rely on. Do not believe the romantic idea of the hero who single handedly beats people without needing help.

-don't give them a reason to fear you. Remember all they want is an excuse to bring in more laws to treat you like a criminal. They can't do that if the fears are misplaced. Might doesn't convince the masses that you are right.

Militias can not work to restore freedom. There are too few willing to sacrifice comfort. THERE IS NO NEED FOR THEM. The only thing that has ever worked to control fascist governments is STRIKE. This government would be brought to its knees within a month if the sheeple just said "I will not work until this fascism is stopped." But, the simple plain truth is no one is willing to sacrifice comfort for freedom. There is no need for militias. Besides, I don't want to trade one fascist regime for another.

To everyone who keeps talking about a regime change or over throwing government entirely....

I don't think we would even want to do such a thing, nor would it be necessary. If things kicked off there would be some fighting at first sure, but eventually those left in power, or those watching from afar would quickly realize they have someone to answer to.....surely this would intiate immediate change in the way government conducts it's self.

Again, peaceful deliverance of demands backed by brute force when required is the ticket.

-don't let emotion get in the way of your cause. Use rational methods to get what you want. Argue your reasons for needing to change things with logic and stay calm. It doens't matter if the mainstream media won't give you a chance, when people see that you are right and they are wrong because their leaders misled them, they will come around eventually. Patience. Supporters will not treat you seriously if you just lash out with "tough guy" appearance but have nothing new to add to the table. If you have no solution to a problem and can't find out why the system is flawed, then you are just part of the problem. Thinking about why americans are used to buying things on credit and borrowing money, is important for example. Is it because your parents did that? Your friends? Why not do without the normal things people expect to have in life and learn to do without?

-Violence should be justified in self defence but if you fire the first shot, then the authorities have every right to defend themselves against you. Remember they may sympathise with you but just don't want to lose their job because they have familes to feed to. They may not agree with what they are told to do, and if it crosses a certain line, will defend your rights. Right now your goal should be focused on demonstrating why you believe something is wrong and convincing as many to join your cause. Then people will have the conviction to get off their butt and take a proactive stance.

-the illuminati just don't care about the people who they've manipulated - you don't want to kill their innocent dupes, just expose their plot. The new world order is something that is being dressed up as a great thing for everyone but is just a way to grab global control over large masses of the world. It's a power grab. People who innocently believe in that idea don't deserve to die. Just take your time, educate your own children so the fight can continue to undo the mind control and persuasion so the message is passed on. One day you will get too old, and other people will have to carry on from where you left off. This plan to take over the world is multigenerational. So the plan to prevent it must also be constant to remind others what the fight is about. If people see you as the terrorist because the government is using their own labels, over time those children will use their terminology to describe you, not yours. Train the innocent dupe how words can be perverted. Don't kill them: use them as an asset.

Wisdom will always overcome brute force. You lost what you had because you allowed yourself to be deceived and were caught sleeping through the wizard's spell due to mind-numbing for many years. Time to undo the spell first. A person who can use the opposition's energy against him, rather than his own, is just more energy-efficient at fighting. It's like when you invest money so that money "works for you" instead of using your own body to labor for it. (when you get too old to use your body cash stops flowing) Education is the most important thing.

What's the point of feeding people food when you canjust teach them how to find it or hunt for it themselves? When your gone, those skills are passed on. So similarly the awakening is first and foremost the most important step. If people don't know why things must change, then it is just inviting the deceivers to come back later when people are asleep again. It has to have long-lasting effects whose results are measurable to know if it is succeeding or failing. As much as some might want to take action now and start making change instantly, that isn't going to happen because there is a lot of wealthy people who see it as their right to rule over you as masters. They see their success as proof that you are too dumb to be worthy as leaders. What you must do is show them how their corruption "doesn't pay" and that it can blow up in thier faces. Using non-violent methods, good will succeed.

If you see a man or woman in a UNITED STATES MILITARY UNIFORM or any branch of the federal law enforcement please give them the respect they deserve. That uniform deserves respect and it is up to you to give it to them. They are wearing that uniform because they believe in this country and are doing their part to serve it. 99.9 % of all who wear that uniform will uphold the oath that they swore to. To protect this country from all enemies FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC. If there ever is a civil war or anything that resembles one, those of you who decide to stand up for your country will be standing beside those brave men and women who wear the uniform today.

They are all under oath to serve and protect this country and they will do so and they will protect you from anyone trying to take away your freedom or rights as a UNITED STATES CITIZEN.

Steer clear from the misinformed conspiracies and idiotic posts claiming your government agencies are out to get you. That my friends is misinformation.
