Lots of 3.0-4.0's up and down California today...lots of them triggering new earthquakes. Could get interesting in the next day or 2.

Apparently there is a depleted uranium site in Chino Hills area -
That doesn't sit well.

Something will appear - and then disappear...

Yes - it has been very busy and a couple relatively close to downtown...
anything over 4 raises a red flag for me...
and anytime they hit in the ocean - not far from land.

Um and yesterday - there were two in unlikely places -
Pennsylvania and Ohio...

I am with you on this one. USGS world map shows only 146 over past week, and that is usually higher. When things go really quiet, a bigger one seems more likely. I really don't know what I am talking about though...

If I had to guess a region, I would take the safe bet: off the coast of New Guinea, no tsunami.

^ Totally agreed. That's what I'm going on.. it's probably been 5 days now so my original prediction was incorrect. However, there is still time as the number of quakes is still relatively low...

New prediction... at least a 6.5 in the next 3 days.
