You guys are incredibly paranoid. I love it!

You can watch the earthquake maps 24/7 and there will be constant rumble, ALWAYS! Try wasting time by watching porn or play a game, its healthier

I would guess these latest ones are aftershocks of the larger ones... what do you think?

Who knows... seems like they're all jumbled up... I just measured on Google Earth the distances and of the ones on land the two further apart are only 77 miles and if you count the ones in the ocean it's still only 101 miles. Ohhhhh, this is not good for those people.

yea i'm no expert by any means, i would imagine they are aftershocks though.. one also has to be careful of taking these quakes out of context. is this really an extremely high concentration of quakes in the area or does this sort of thing happen quite often?

Yep i would say you are 100% right, And really that is so normal to see this amount of activity just after a 7 pointer,

Remember the plates have to stress to get to that 7.5 then they have to move back, I assume thats what we are seeing now,

Over the next few hours the quakes will go down a little in size,

Again remeber this is the ring of fire and Quakes are always happening there, Its one of the most active places in the world,

Definately not normal. I keep a pretty good eye on my Google Earth addon and look around the world almost every day at where the "hot spots" are and have never seen it so bad here.

Actually, they've had FOUR 7.5 and up EQs in ONE DAY within 100 miles of each other. They're not aftershocks. Maybe some of the smaller ones but not the 7.somethings.

actually there were only two 7+ quakes.. RSOE's map shows four quakes but two of those are errors, you'll notice they don't have a time or date linked to the event. but regardless of these aftershocks being normal after a big quake, and even though Indonesia does have a lot of quakes, i don't think anyone can deny that having two 7+ quakes in one day in one area is quite scary!
