People should really simply learn to curb those urges. If they could do that, this wouldnt be an issue. That goes for love too.

Btw, I dont really care what a car looks like, as long as it runs and gets good Miles Per Gallon. Looks appear to the emotions, but the specs are for the rationalist.

I've tried it once years ago as an experiment on a person I know. I did it for one hour straight. I didn't care much about the outcome, only to see if it worked. After that the person was being much friendler and was paying much more attention to me than before I did it. So it actually worked for me. It wears off slowly after a while if you don't do follow up sessions (which I didn't do, because of it being just an experiment).

But like I've said before, you can't influence someone to do something if it's actually not an option for them (notably their subconscious) to do. It will always fail. Just as in hypnosis you can't hypnotise somebody to act like a cat or a monkey if it's absolutely in conflict with their subconscious. People still have free will, and nothing can impede on that.

I know other people who have much more advanced methods of remotely influencing other people. But they advocate more on increasing your own charisma and energy (for sales and business purposes). NLP people are often interested in that kind of stuff.

And last but not least, I'll say one thing.

There is not one person on this planet that has never done any type of remote influencing on another person before. It's no big deal because everyone is doing it all the time mostly subconsciously. People with a weak mind (limited focusing ability, limited confidence etc... ) are the ones who are influenced more than they are the ones who do the influencing.

All the normal factors still count. No matter how powerful your focus might be it is not 'something for nothing'.

The reason why this sort of thing is not everywhere is that we have all sorts of built-in protections. We each have our own power if you will. So for those reading this who might be worried, don't be. Strong minds with clear thoughts can beat the most accomplished practioner of the techniques discussed in this Thread.

Oh, heh, people who do this sort of thing, have a REMARKABLE abilty to shoot themselves in the foot!

I would be inclined to think I'd be a rather fortified target for such mind tricks.
This also happens to be the same reason I probably cannot be effectively hypnotised, or so I think..

However, if the concious mind has anything to do with it, the ration ones would present more difficult targets, wouldn't they?

I beleive if you think about someone constantly, the thinker sends the thinkee messages telepathically- thats not hard to do. I dont know if its mind control. It just seems natural to me if someone thinks of me all day i'm going to pick up on it and call them or something. I've had this happen all my life.

If I put some sort of electronic device in your home, would it pick it up, or are we talking about something extradimensional, (in which case I suggest you explain it.)

Eh, you'd need 3 things to get a believable test.

#1 Someone who claims to be able to do this.
#2 Someone with a webcam...
#3 Someone who doesnt use friends to vouch for them that they were influenced. Maybe live telekinesis or something..

I've had days when i get a fleeting thought of someone and eventually that person will call and say theyve been thinking about me.

I'm by no means special. I thought everyone could do it. I do think the seduction thoughts work too, but my days of seducing anyone are over or the old man would kill me

Perhaps you should try and influence one our members... but then again, we have the never-failing human tendency to LIE, even if they are not aware of it.
