I actually agree with you, but with one exception.. There were no immigration laws back then, and the Indians didn't believe anyone could own the land.

No problem, I didn't take it as a personal affront. We all have our opinions whether they're right or wrong. So were cool, and I do see what you're saying.

I lived in Mexico for 5 years and yes it's true what you say. Also, Mexicans aren't only the type you see in the U.S.A there's also European/Mediterranean Mexicans or descendants (like me my mother comes from Arabic Roots and is Mexican).

Isn't this why we have LEGAL immigration, though? For people who want to travel to countries to be documented, and go wherever they wanna go?

I think it is sad that we have laws, that only some people need to abide by. In this case, it's just not worth being a natural-born citizen. OR all of the Mexicans and citizens from other countries to need to WAIT, and WAIT on the waiting lists to come over here legally. How is illegal immigration fair to those who have to go through the procedure of doing the same thing legally?

People that believe this way still harbor the old socialist/communist dream of a life where they don't really have to work and the government just gives them everything they need to be "happy". Manna from heaven - only to them the government is heaven.

No that's called being conformist and lazy. I have seen that in some of the Mexicans that I treated down in Mexico when I lived there. They were workers of the land of my family.

I had to go to the house of one and pick him up and tell him he needed to work because he didn't wake up. And he still had the nerve of telling me he still needed to eat breakfast....

I was PAYING him to do work not asking him for a favor....

Not all of the workers were like that though... there are some hard working individuals and those are the ones that actually get somewhere.
