I have also seen this in many Americans too, it's not just a culture but just lazy people and people that don't have good upbringing.

We're a socially mature society who has adopted a canon of laws that says if you want to live in this country there's a process you need to go by and trying to circumvent that process is illegal and unacceptable. We're a socially mature society who says we will enforce our own laws by arresting violators of this law and send them back from where they came.

I fail to see the problem.

the migration of people over the Mexico-American border
was permitted to happen by all levels of government... on both sides of the border!

the US side allowed the migrating populations to work/earn/spend US$
which in turn provided taxable revenues in many different ways.
did youse ever consider that a landlords property which was sitting vacant because there were no middleclass Americans would rent that hovel -
but because of the low paid workers from the south that property now becomes an asset to the tax authorities/

Or those hundreds of check cashing places just a door or so away from a liquor or beer seller, required a photo ID for a fee-- just for the priveledge of cashing a paycheck for 1-4% of the check ammount?

Those low wages paid to millions of 'illegals' in turn generated millions of $$ as they bought them Fanta colas, & nacho cheese trays at the local 7-11/Pantry/etc...spent what wasn't sent 'home' here in the local economy.

The Mexican elite class in government got their desired plan for their underclass--- instead of Mexican welfare let the USA utilize the people,
but now that the migrants source of work and money is dried up in the USA
they might just return back to Mexico in droves and be forced to take sides in the drug cartel wars for control of Mexican States, like Chiapas,
and even get involved in the much anticipated Civil War in Mexico
(is 2012 the year of the great change = civil war?)

just throwing in a few items of interest concerning the Mexicans/Duress scenario that is continuing to build!

People that believe this way still harbor the old socialist/communist dream of a life where they don't really have to work and the government just gives them everything they need to be "happy". Manna from heaven - only to them the government is heaven.

I think that your otherwise fine argument got derailed here. Socialist ideals did not/do not include slacking off. I don't know where you got this notion from.

It's all moot at this point anyway. Both of our illustrious POTUS candidates believe in a path for amnesty for illegal aliens already here in America. Whether we like it or not our taxes will be raised and used to help these criminals cut in line ahead of people who have been awaiting citizenship for years the right way.

It's the best example I can give you

But i'm sure burdman is not an idiot
So he's probably a descendant of legal immigrants

Illegals are the dregs of our society and should all be run out of town on a rail. What they have done to my town is unforgivable. Swooped in and took over the town, setup boarding houses with 10-15 to a house, trashed neighborhoods, DEVASTATED property values, and now are just leaving in droves and abandoning their homes and leaving a trail of disaster in their wake. They sicken me and I hope they all get what they deserve. The government officials that allowed this to happen on their watch and the bleeding heart liberals that cried for their rights while they themselves were snug as a bug in their posh illegal free neighborhoods all should be rounded up and given a traitor's sentence. They are lucky I'm not in charge or that's what they would get. With any luck that's what they will get before it's all said and done and America says enough! once and for all to this crap.

I don't despise the illegals as much as I do their American supporters. People that hire them, government officials that coddle them, and liberals that support them all should be imprisoned and all assets seized.

Maybe if your people were more united or had put up a better fight you would have been able to. Since you didn't win the war, you're lucky we let you have what you've got now.

weren't united?
America invades countries to fight for freedom abroad when you lose more and more at home

patriotism doens't have to mean being pro-big government

India is WAY more united than wherever you come from I assure you

No that's called being conformist and lazy. I have seen that in some of the Mexicans that I treated down in Mexico when I lived there. They were workers of the land of my family.

I had to go to the house of one and pick him up and tell him he needed to work because he didn't wake up. And he still had the nerve of telling me he still needed to eat breakfast....

I was PAYING him to do work not asking him for a favor....

Laziness is deeply ingrained in their culture. In fact, it's even like that back in the motherland, Spain. People sleep all day, take long breaks in the middle of the day just to nap, avoid work by any means necessary and, get this, they go out when it's dark and party all through the night.

I spent a couple weeks travelling around Spain a few years ago and was shocked at how good everyone was at not getting anything done and being annoyingly unenthusiastic about doing their jobs. It's hard to believe Spain was once a world power.

The typical argument:
All whites in the United States are illegal immigrants blah blah blah.

Tell me, did the Native Americans have any form of:
* National government?
* Immigration acts?
* Naturalisation laws?

No - as tragic as the European colonisation of the New World was, it was not "illegal immigration" by a long shot - they're as much "illegal immigrants" as Jews are in Europe, the Moors were in Spain, the Angles/Saxons/Jutes were in Britain.

No - they're just driving drown wage rates for low-paying jobs.

Oh get over yourself - history has it's winners, just like it has it's losers.

If Native Americans were in the same technological, social, cultural, religious niche as the Europeans were, chances are the exact same thing would've happened in Europe.

Also, for a window onto how the "morally superior Mexicans treat their illegal immigrants":
Mexican illegal immigration hypocrisy.

If the United States treated Mexican illegals like Mexico treats Central American illegals, half the world would be up in arms.

The real question you all should be asking yourself is who is going to wash your dishes, build your houses and cook your food?

When the Mexicans are leaving America for Mexico, you know America is in bad shape.

i for one have no problem with immigration. i think that despite a few recent setbacks we have a pretty good country here with overall great people. i can see why other people would want to move here.

but, it can be done legally yeah? and for those that cant for whatever reason move here legally and its not because of criminal records, there are ways to become legal once youre here arent there?

id have to say from what ive seen and the people ive met that by and large the immigrants that are here are good hardworking people that just want more than they were able to get where they were.

unfortunatly its the ones that WONT follow the rules that give the whole lot of them a bad rep.

this article is BS.

they are not leaving because they cannot find jobs, thats not the
reason they come in the first place.

they come here for free govt services. jobs are just icing on the cake.

what does it mean for an illegal couple to have just one child?
maternity/labor all paid for/ at least $20K. factor in complications,
alot have diabetes, average $40K to delivery.

babys health paid for/ free formula / baby supplies/ at least to 5 years old. free shooling. free food/health for the mother. in california, they
pass out medical sign up sheets that state immigration status doesnt

ok, who's gonna leave that behind for their wife/kids if they cant
find a job.

maybe the ones leaving are single mexicans.

stop blaming the employer, taxes should have never been this
high from the first place, and all the fees to run a business. the
employer is just a scapegoat.

Oh, I thought all the illegals were coming here to partake of the American dream. Now that they've helped drive the economy into the ground, suddenly they want to go home. There's gratitude for you. I think they should hand over their oil now thankyouverymuch.

I have a degree in culunary arts as a Chef. Its cost me nearly $18,000 to get my degree. I can't find work because Mexicans will cook for 4 bucks an hour and the damn owners pocket the extra profit. I will take the job for enough to live on. Not a wage that I will starve with. I havev to take a job as a Truck driver to make enough to live on. The same thing happened when I was younger and a Machinist. The companies dump the well trained for cheaper labor and most where ilegal Asians. Its not that Americans won't do the work, Its that Americans are smart enough not to take work for slave wages. The people that take advantage of the ilegals need jail time and its time for the US to rehire and build they're workforce to the levels with skill that we had in the 60's and 70's.

Disgusting argument, typical colonial thinking

Do not force your beliefs onto the throats of others

do american anarcists believe in National government

Immigration acts - they let white ppl come, they were friendly without politics attached, a community is allowed to live without the control you so desire, let people be absolutely free in absolute freedom

I beg to differ. That may be what is messing up the broader economy, but here outside DC where I live in Manassas, illegal Mexicans are what ruined my local economy and the local housing market. Their illegal invasion has driven a wedge in between our respective communities, taken massive jobs from Americans, created overcrowding, devastated the local property values and basically destroyed a once thriving community. Now we get the pleasure of seeing day laborers hang out on the corner 7-11 drinking beer at 8am and peeing all over the wall, cat calling women and driving away any would-be customers that might want to stop in for a coffee and danish. Don't presume to preach to me about what has caused my economic problems. I know what it is and it is the thousands of illegal immigrants that flooded into this area. *rolls eyes* Even your name has a condescending tone to it.
