I have also seen this in many Americans too, it's not just a culture but just lazy people and people that don't have good upbringing.

We're a socially mature society who has adopted a canon of laws that says if you want to live in this country there's a process you need to go by and trying to circumvent that process is illegal and unacceptable. We're a socially mature society who says we will enforce our own laws by arresting violators of this law and send them back from where they came.

was permitted to happen by all levels of government... on both sides of the border!

the US side allowed the migrating populations to work/earn/spend US$
which in turn provided taxable revenues in many different ways.
did youse ever consider that a landlords property which was sitting vacant because there were no middleclass Americans would rent that hovel -
but because of the low paid workers from the south that property now becomes an asset to the tax authorities/

Or those hundreds of check cashing places just a door or so away from a liquor or beer seller, required a photo ID for a fee-- just for the priveledge of cashing a paycheck for 1-4% of the check ammount?


Those low wages paid to millions of 'illegals' in turn generated millions of $$ as they bought them Fanta colas, & nacho cheese trays at the local 7-11/Pantry/etc...spent what wasn't sent 'home' here in the local economy.

The Mexican elite class in government got their desired plan for their underclass--- instead of Mexican welfare let the USA utilize the people,
but now that the migrants source of work and money is dried up in the USA
they might just return back to Mexico in droves and be forced to take sides in the drug cartel wars for control of Mexican States, like Chiapas,
and even get involved in the much anticipated Civil War in Mexico

I think that your otherwise fine argument got derailed here. Socialist ideals did not/do not include slacking off. I don't know where you got this notion from.

It's all moot at this point anyway. Both of our illustrious POTUS candidates believe in a path for amnesty for illegal aliens already here in America. Whether we like it or not our taxes will be raised and used to help these criminals cut in line ahead of people who have been awaiting citizenship for years the right way.

Illegals are the dregs of our society and should all be run out of town on a rail. What they have done to my town is unforgivable. The real question you all should be asking yourself is who is going to wash your dishes, build your houses and cook your food?

When the Mexicans are leaving America for Mexico, you know America is in bad shape.

i for one have no problem with immigration. i think that despite a few recent setbacks we have a pretty good country here with overall great people. i can see why other people would want to move here.

but, it can be done legally yeah? and for those that cant for whatever reason move here legally and its not because of criminal records, there are ways to become legal once youre here arent there?

id have to say from what ive seen and the people ive met that by and large the immigrants that are here are good hardworking people that just want more than they were able to get where they were.

unfortunatly its the ones that WONT follow the rules that give the whole lot of them a bad rep.

I beg to differ. That may be what is messing up the broader economy, but here outside DC where I live in Manassas, illegal Mexicans are what ruined my local economy and the local housing market. Their illegal invasion has driven a wedge in between our respective communities, taken massive jobs from Americans, created overcrowding, devastated the local property values and basically destroyed a once thriving community. Now we get the pleasure of seeing day laborers hang out on the corner 7-11 drinking beer at 8am and peeing all over the wall, cat calling women and driving away any would-be customers that might want to stop in for a coffee and danish. Don't presume to preach to me about what has caused my economic problems. I know what it is and it is the thousands of illegal immigrants that flooded into this area. *rolls eyes* Even your name has a condescending tone to it.
