I agree that anyone and everyone should be able to be discussed. But I agree with you that everyone seems to be bashing Obama as of late, prob. because they were wishing Hillary would win the race
. Either way no one is ammune to being scutinized, even if there isn't much on him.

I hate to burst your bubble but we do not operate under the popular vote system. Spend some time looking up how voting works in this country and maybe you won't get mad about things that are nonsense.

If you do not like the system, do something about it. Blogging your concerns, although within your rights, is meaningless. I'm sure that you are more than capable enough to start a grass roots movement to change the voting structure in this country to a popular vote standard. That would be just fine with me. In the mean time, please stop bringing up the obvious when it has no merit.

Our governor of Washington State was voted in by dead people, vagrants and people who were somehow allowed to vote several times in one election, during our last election, due to a close popular vote system. The third count finally brought the numbers to a point where the ruling class decided that it was finally acceptable. The other candidate won two out of three times popularly and still lost. If it is not a landslide, the popular vote will be abused.

That's easy... they have nothing else to say. Like the rest of the conservative movement they are intellectually bankrupt.

I don't like him because of the family values he was taught as a child. I also don't want Michelle Obama the American hating first lady wanna'be in the white house.

Most of all he is also the most liberal left wing nut around. Have you done your research on this guy or are you one of those feel good voters?

So people arn't supposed to be opposed to the liberal left or American hating racists in your ideal world? We are all allowed our own opinions on these matters. I find this whole mess absolutely disgusting. Just because you don't agree with the evidence that people have put out doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist.

And why is that? You don't counter any of my points but just say I am corrupt? I think it is the liberal left that is bankrupt for thinking they can sneak this guy past America. He is a marxist and here is one fact you neglect to ignore.

This is frm Obama's Official campaign blogger, Sam Graham-Felsen
"The capitalist ruling class of the United States exercises a virtual dictatorship not only over American society, but also over the entire world. This capitalist class rule is the basic cause of the poverty, wars and the degradation of the natural environment.

After being expelled from Socialist Action in 1999, we formed Socialist Workers Organization in an attempt to carry on the project of building a nucleus of a revolutionary party true to the historic teachings and program of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Trotsky."

Yes, this is who we need in the white house driving domestic and foreign policy...

For me, the main issue is electability. Clinton is electable, Obama is not. He isn't now according to a poll I saw the other day, and he'll be even less so when the Republicans start pummeling him. All the Repubs have to do is create that nebulous element of doubt about a candidate, and it's all over. With Obama, that doubt will be much more than "nebulous."

Please........are you always this disingenuous?

You must actually be talking about Democrats, Republicans or Liberals because real conservatives, intellectually speaking, make Dem's, Rep's, and Libroids look like mental midgets. And that's a fact!

I think this whole "America Hating" BS needs to stop NOW!

The fact is, people on this site are WAY more "Radical" then what our Presidential candidate Obama and his wife are saying.

So according to all these annoying people's who use the term "America Hating" judgment, most folk posting on this forum should be considered "America Hating."

If someone thinks Obama hates America, you are ever so wrong!!

Such ideals have no place on a conspiracy forum even if this is a political debate!

Anyone who thinks someone who is trying to make a difference in the world hates America does not belong on this internet community (my opinion, of course this is really up to the mods.)

For the record I am not a "liberal," "libertarian," or "conservative." Me, being a conspiracy theorist, is none of the above, and I think most people on the forum are similar this. And I don't like Obama at all to be honest, but it has nothing to do with his policies - I just don't like the guy.

This forum has no place for childish attacks on people. While discussing ones opinion is great, assuming someone hates America because you don't like/agree with them is very flawed thinking and will stunt humanity's evolution.

Please, grow up people...

You must remember, most Americans have what they call down south as a "Pulpit Mentality." This is where millions of people sit like deer in headlights to behold a preacher yelling at them for hours on end, only to walk to their cars with nothing show but ringing ears.

Americans are trained to be gullible from these sessions of spiriual rage against the machine! If you add patriotism, credit cards, fast food & Viagra, you can see just why we are sitting ducks. Even though countries like China have the most visible "follow the leader syndrome"... the thing that separates us from them is they are on the same page.

On the other hand, America has historically followed leader's who ramp up false emotions & threats like: communistic Anti-christs & drug smuggling chubacabra's.... even though most under educated American's have no clue as to what a communist is.... "Best we build a bunker under the outhouse cause Reds and the Japs is commin through New York city on reworked John Deer tractors."

America is a great country but it's people are sheepish for morons. You could tell them ten soldiers died in Iraq over the last 5 years and they would believe it standing in a sea of flag drapped caskets.

This time however, the man they are following is actually for them... Obama is a man who HAS and WILL win their hearts. Unlike the past, Americans finally are thinking on their feet, using their own minds at this point in history. -- IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!

One, because you can't convice young people to be stupid.. they can see through the babbling Mc Bush like a cheap video game. Saying - "He's just ah old man two years shy of an oxygen tank... who sounds like his prostate is about to explode in his diaper... of all the white men in America.. who picked him for crying out loud!!??"

Two, because it's just time.

Such ideas do belong here and anywhere the topic is debated. Just because you say its so doesn't mean it isn't. Where are your facts?

This guy and his wife hate America and they have proven it many times over. He is a communist and he will redistribute the wealth of most Americans to the lowest common denominator in our country.

Those that are lazy and refuse to work will be once again praised and people like me who earn and create wealth will be vilified. He is a thief, his wife is waste of air and he doesn't need to be in the White House.

Ok mister ATS Points: -951

I said that it was MY OPINION and it was up to the mods to say what belongs here.
I can't believe you expect people to listen to you when you clearly DO NOT LISTEN!

Read my post again if you don't understand.

Also, I said I DON'T LIKE OBAMA!
He is in the pockets of big corporations (but come on, what candidate isn't?) - I'm for his claimed plans for America, but I do not trust him. I do not think he will do a good job.

Sir, it is also MY opinion you do not belong here - mister jump to conclusions before fully understanding someones simple post.

Again, this is all up to the moderator!

Man... the second I start liking ATS again...

sway gullible against obama? scuse me but im not gullible. I believe in individualism (independents), not collective socialism. Obama does not represent me or people likewise in any sense.

Spend some time looking up how voting works in this country and maybe you won't get mad about things that are nonsense.

1 - I KNOW how the system works. I also know why.
2 - I'm not mad. And for you to ASSUME so is beyond silly.
3 - Popular vote may be 'nonsense' to you ... but it's very important to many people in this country.

In the mean time, please stop bringing up the obvious when it has no merit.

:shk: Look junior ... this is a CHAT FORUM. I'll bring up anything I damn well please. For you to call what people wish to discuss 'nonsense' and 'having no merit' ... that's pathetic ... especially given the subject matter.

Side note - interesting first (and only) post from a supposed 'newbie' ... gotta wonder who this 'snake' is .... banned poster trying for reincarnation? Kiddie out of school for the summer?

One thing at least is clear. Get out of the stock market or even leave the country if you can if Obama steals the presidency. He's going to greatly increase capital gains taxes, which will crush the markets. He will also repeal the max. contribution to social security and repeal the Bush personal tax cuts. The bottom line will be enormous tax increases on the middle class, just when the economy is starting to tank. It's going to be ugly.

Obama induced Crash

AND ANOTHER first day poster ... telling ATSers to 'grow up'??
Where'd you come from? How the heck would you know anything about

Disinformation is what you are spewing here. On one hand you say you don't like him but on the other you say there is no place for calling Obama an American hater. I call it like I see it and there is more evidence to prove he and his clan hate this country than there is disproving my theory.

And because you have what? 14 ATS points that makes your opinion better than mine? I don't belong here because I am calling your bluff?

Your selfrighteous indignation at the opposition to this guy is painfully obvious and disingenuous at best. Obama does hate America and we know who you are voting for in this election.

In my opinion you do belong here. It reminds us of the lengths that trolls will go to, to misinform...

Edit to add:
You still have provided no facts to back up your claim that Obama likes America. And another thing... I didn't even attack you in my first response but you come out guns blazing. Why so defensive? Why flame me if you aren't really in this guys corner? Why say I don't belong here if you aren't trying to stifle opposition and debate? Come on out of the closet... Its ok to support Osama err.. um Obama if that’s what you want to do. Don't hide behind disingenuous self-righteousness...

God I hate summer on ATS. When does school get back in session?

I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression of me.
I have been a lurker for many months, I only recently decided to start posting (Gotta start somewhere, ay?).
This kind of response makes me want to leave, quite frankly. I am simply stating my opinions. It's also hypocritical to assume I am a school kid (you said "How the heck would you know anything about
anyone here, considering this is supposedly your first day and all??") First off, I was raised much differently then most American kids. I was home schooled most my life (please, don't flame me for this, as that would be utter ignorance), where I was told by my mom to learn about the things that interest me. Because of this I am already becoming successful in my career field (not including side projects I have going on that are workingn out well) I am also a bit young, 19, although that's not your business.

You seem to be a respectable person here, so I have no intention of making you angry - you clearly have proved yourself on this forum. I hope you will realize that I am just a person with opinions like most here. I just want an understanding. I do not wish to press my ideas on people, but I hope they might think about it.

Disinformation is what you are spewing here

I have no intention of brainwashing people with false claims. On the other hand I will state my opinions. I WILL NOT start fights. And I WILL NOT attack anyone.

Maybe I'm coming off alot different then I intended. I'm sorry. I will take some of you what you said into consideration. Lets skip the personal attacks.
Agreed? I'm sorry if I have already attacked you, but sometimes I just speak my mind without realizing it's prolly best to leave it be...

I am not a closet-Obama lover. I have stated I do not like the guy. But it is simply my opinion that I think he likes America. I'm not trying to prove one way or another, just simply stating my opinion.

I don't like Obama as much as I don't like the cheap personal attacks they put on him in the Media.

I hope you understand....

-Peace
