benarius is living somewhere in europe as far as i know so he would be sound asleep at that time

the breakdown happend close to my bedtime, so if i would have want to post at that time no chance ;(

I'm not trying to talk him into it. I'm just saying that the rules are valid and whether to go by the spirit or to invoke the letter is a decision every fighter has a right to make for themselves. Of course it goes without saying that most- perhaps even all of us- would prefer to give and get some slack, but if someone is comfortable stipulating no quarter asked, none given, and doesn't think they'll ever get paid back by somebody quicker than them, then that's a risk they are entitled to take.

When somebody decides to play hardball, the guy who wants to spend more of his time and effort on debating will have an advantage, and the guy who has other responsibilities and priorities will have a disadvantage- but that's natural and it creates its own compromise- both sides make their choice freely and get what's most important to them. The one who wants to debate instead of sleep, eat, and mate will (hopefully, for his sake) win the debate... but he won't eat sleep and mate- I'm speaking from experience here, or lack thereof more appropriately. And the one who wants to get to work on time and be a productive member of offline society will get to do that. Serves him right for selling out (KIDDING!)
