Oops! Looks like you read that wrong, TV. If you're on California time (as am I), the extension expired at +48hrs from the last post timestamp, not from the extension request. Which was around 11-something our time.

Skep, good call on the closing - your call, of course, but hey why not give a little extra time. NYK and I have a challenge match going, too, and we're basically ignoring the 24 hour rule, by mutual consent.

Note to all: tournament rules are more strict!

When do we get the judgement from our challenge match?

I would have more patients but we are expecting tornadoes any moment and I just got the yard cleaned up from the ice storm, so kind of frazzled.

Really am thirsty for a martini with extra olives, but better wait in case we have to fly tonight...

One martini, extra olives:

And one travel cup, if necessary:

Enjoy, and best wishes for a peaceful night.

This one shouldn't impair you too badly

It can take a while to get results. I think one of the Holiday debates may have taken three weeks

But I'm sure there's a rush on all the recent fights since they have to be decided for seeding purposes.

In other words, who knows
I was really surprised how fast my fight with peacejet was judged.

It should be in in the next few days. Obviously before the tournament start on the 16th.

I know Shock and the judges will it get to you as soon as possible.

Shock is also having some network connection issues so don't take his intermittent absence as a sign of apathy.

Was ATS down for anyone earlier tonight?

Ahhh those martunies look Gooood.

There was an old woman who walked into a bar and drunkenly asked the bartender for a martunie with a pickle *hiccup* for her heart burn, the bartender obviously disgusted served her her order. Moments later the lady said Buarteunter, givve me abnother martunie with a pickle for my*belch* heartburn!
The bartender tells her look lady, first of all its not a martunie it s a martini, second its not a pickle its an olive and thirdly if you take your tit out of the ashtray you wont have heartburn...

Ok I know its an oldie, but hey what can I say?

To stay on track here, thanks, I guess only time will tell.

I'm hoping to have all judgment for all concluded debates up by Sunday night...

And true on the network issues....as well as laptop battery issues. I am not confident to be worry free until Thursday (battery issues) and then my network issues will continue through the weekend as the Los Angeles area is expecting a nice and lengthy storm.

And my favorite joke of all time?

A woman walks into a bar and asks for a double entendre. The bartender nods his head and gives her one.

A double entendre is a figure of speech in which a spoken phrase can be understood in either of two ways. An example of this would be the title of the short story, "The Most Dangerous Game", by Richard Connell, in which the title can refer both to a "game" that is most dangerous to play, and the "game" that is most dangerous to hunt. From Wikipedia

Pronunciation = on - tawn - dra

And now your joke has more stars...
