It's bound to happen eventually. Sometimes it's good to get out and mingle.

Plus, you could use a little fresh air, and maybe a little sun.

Of course, I could be wrong. Maybe you should just stay here and increase your drink intake.

It'll help, I promise.

Thanks but tramadol is to fluffy for SDog.
My bulldog takes them sometimes, so I'll take them for her.

Go on, put on airs, but you know not what you miss -- take two or three and then talk to me about it.

PS - The upshot? You can get them from the vet!

You know, I could be wrong here, but I believe the discussion of using medication for recreational purposes is a no no.

Although, the joking manner in which it's being discussed would have to be considered.

Why am I even worrying about this?

Time for a drink....

SDog suffers from degenerative back problems.
The medication I'm prescribed is illegal in Mexico.

Do you need to take it in Mexico?

I'm sure it works just as good in DC.

Budski also suffers from a severely messed up back - currently on 10/500 4*2 co-dydramol.

I gotta stop taking painkillers altogether - they are ruining my stomach.

My magnetic bracelet has helped - it's either witchcraft or the placebo effect, but frankly I don't care as it gives me relief.

Plus I have the flu, and I've just had to assemble a new bed, after the other one broke.

The budmeister is not in a good way, and I may get snappy

Then again, I may just save it up for the skirmishes

I have a friend who swears by his magnetic bracelet.

He used to have back and arthritis problems, started wearing one of those and swears up and down that it helped just as much or more than his medication did.

Never tried wearing one myself though.

There's got to be a story behind that.

The thing is, that I was extremely skeptical and didn't think it would work at all, so I'm not sure how it could be a placebo effect.

I would never say it stops all the pain, but on a day to day basis, it provides as much relief as meds, without the side effects.

I'm only aching so much at the moment because of the bed thing.

Intrepid
I know what you're thinking, but all I can say is "what, with my back?"

Hot, quick working booze huh?

You need this...

Some good Kentucky made moonshine.

Normally I wouldn't recommend it, but you asked for quick working, and I gaurantee it'll be hot going down.

Now that's just evil

I tried some poteen once - and I do mean once, that was enough.

2 shots and the rest of the night was a complete blank.

Apparently I had fun though

That stuffs like 90% ABV isn't it? Basically just a step under drinking pure grain alcohol!

That must have hit you like a ton of bricks going down.

It really depends where you get it from - I was living in Ireland at the time and got the genuine moonshine stuff from a good local source (apparently)

The bad stuff can make you blind - if you don't die.

All I know is that I nearly choked when I drank the first shot, and that's 1 part poteen to 9 parts lemonade.

It's a cheap way to get drunk, but not very enjoyable, and I had a REALLY bad hangover the next day when I eventually surfaced.

I'm glad (in a way) that I experienced it - but I don't want to do it again.

EVER

I'd maybe try one shot of it once just to say I did, but I'd probably mix it with something a little stronger than lemonade.
