Im not pointing the finger at anyone on this thread, just somthing that i`ve noticed here and on many other forums.

Anyone else notice that alot of Reed topics are usually started by a newer member who starts off by claiming that they just found the story and wanted to know what people thought of it (as if they are still on the fence), only to find that they are actually very familliar with the case?
Then they fight tooth and nail to convince everyone that the story is true?

I kind of have the suspicion that alot of these people may be one in the same, or associated with the Reed group/team, trying to renew interst in the case to bring in more DVD sales.

Just a new conspiracy theory to ponder.

Exactly. Travis Walton admitted they changed everything. He stated the movie studios completely altered it for cinematic affect, and because they claimed that what really happened to him would not sell tickets to the movie since the story was so benign. So they had to make it false and malevolent to sell tickets. What a disgrace... While I don't believe this was a disinfo campaign of any sort, lies still only hinder the pursuit of truth.

I happened to like Fire In The Sky, even though it scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it (I was young then). In addition to reading the book, I also loved the movie version of Communion (with Christopher Walken). It also scared the crap out of me, and it was based on the true story! My point being that Hollywood doesn't have to lie to make money.

Well, I had never even heard of this case before seeing this thread, so I'm glad this thread exists.

And I find just the opposite!! What I see are a lot of REALLY NEW members with points in the low single or double digits claiming this is a hoax. That to me screams "disinformation."

Do you know why we don't have any PROVEN alien encounter stories? Because disinfo and lies always smear the truth. But yet people continue to believe in aliens despite their so-called proof. You know why? Because there is tons of evidence, but some of it is more than adequate for some, and none of it is adequate for others. Even if I recorded an alien in my room and it was real, and I submitted its blood for DNA analysis, at least 50% of the people would scream hoax and say forgery and claim that the lab analysis wasn't conclusive. That is why NO alien case will ever be proven to be real for everyone. These people either don't want the truth to come out because they have a hidden agenda or perhaps a huge ego that won't let them view the world through a different lens, or because they are frightened of what it will mean to our existence if we are not alone.

I have to agree truthproject. I read some of waltons account in his book and the movie fire in the sky was not an accurate protrayal of what walton said happened inside the ship.

The reason why Jonathan Reed was invited to Star City, Russia is because the Space Consortium held there wanted to do a test analysist on the LINK Artifact and have Dr. Reed speak on the composition of the artifact to the top scientist in the world.

And the reason why debunkers and disinformation people dont talk about that is because it would just continue to compile and provide simply much more substantial credibility towards who Jonathan Reed is, where he worked, his educational background, which was erased, and his incredible alien encounter story that has never ever been debunked.
Im just glad the debunkers have been exposed.

You are absolutely correct and that is why they are completely ignoring the fact that the college mentioned does NOT offer a degree in microbiology or he could have at least given us the right link. Visionandtruth, Visionquest or whatever is just trying to sell Reeds crap. Google some of his sentences and see where else they come up.

Good call on the "just saw this" guy suddenly knows everything about it.

So....your only experience with this case has been this thread and somehow you still believe it so strongly? That does not sound like you are being very objective. You will hear about all kinds of things on ATS but you should really go out and look around some more and see what the truth might actually be.

Could you accept that if it was proven to be THE TRUTH? I could.

As for me personally, i really want there to be aliens from another planet. But unfortunately, there has`nt been any concrete proof YET. But that wont stop me from BELIEVEING that they exist.
But just because I believe, does not mean that it`s ture.

Now as for my post count? well it`s low because i like to read topics on here but dont always find the need or feel compelled to start a topic or reply. There are people here that are alot smarter than me that post and keep me entertained and educated.

You`re right, i did listen to the Art Bell interview and when the education and qualification question was brought up in the beginning, the guy really fumbled with the question. I wish he would have pressed him for more detailed answers. But Art is a sensationalist anyway so it did not suprise me.

Who knows... Reed`s story could be true? But based on the evidence against it, I have to conclude that it`s a hoax.
But if it turns out to be true, i`d be very happy.

I love the 'debunkers'. they dont know just how much they help substantiate this case with all of their hair-splitting mixed with the lies of a website dedicated to disinformation. great work guys. good some here are seeing that those websites havent provided one iota of any of their claims. you guys are a testament to substantiating the legitimacy of this case. especially after 12 years of him coming out and you all still havent debunked this case.

I am far from a "Debunker". Not all people who are skeptical are debunkers. There is a difference.
Infact I could actually be a potential customer .
I just want concrete proof. Especially proof, which I dont have to purchase.

A marketing tactic being used by scammers especially in the UFO and Paranormal field is "Watch my video", "Read my book" or "buy my Shamwow (it really does work BTW), and come to your own conclusion.

Then when someone comes to the conclusion that is not consistant with what the scammer is trying to pull, then it`s "you`re a disinformant" or "narrow minded" or just plain "stupid".
Heck, as a forum owner, i`ve even seen people post fake testimonials for their own products, not knowing that i can match up their IP addresses.

If it`s that ground breaking and true, then release the PROOF.
Dont make people have to buy it.

There has not been ONE SHRED of PROOF (presented by you or anyone else) to support Reed`s story. Lots of evidence..... but no proof after all these years. Sheesh! even his own "microbiologist`s" claims and qualifications cant even be verified.

I`ve come to the conclusion that this story is a hoax. But that does`nt mean that if real proof came out, I could`nt change my mind. Youtube videos is`nt proof.
One example of proof would be the samples being concluded as not of this earth by A TEAM of WELL KNOWN and respected scientists.
There are many ways to convince me. And before you say that I dont matter.... I do matter because Im a potential customer.
Heck, if it`s found to be true, i`ll be first in line to buy the merchandise.

I dont want hearsay, but maybe documentation that could be verified by Star City? Or maybe the names of the TOP SCIENTISTS so they can be contacted to verify that they invited him?
But that still would`nt prove his alien claims.
BUT it would validate YOUR CLAIM, and give you more credibility.
I noticed that you`ve placed a few people on the ignore list because they dont agree with you. Why? It only makes it look like you`re accepting defeat by avoiding things that you have no answer for.

Just like the school kid who keeps getting beat and decides to take his ball home because he cant compete with the other kids.
If you know deep down in your heart that somthing is true, back it up with proof. Dont avoid the tough stuff.

What makes me "stupid" is im actually helping resurect interest in a dead horse by posting. But it`s sooooooo damed entertaining! LOL

But that does`nt prove that he was invited to Star City.
Judging from the signup tables and display booths (and the old lady with the red shopping bag), the photos look to be from a trade show or a small convention.

I have photos of me with Mickey Mouse from a visit to Disneyland, but that does`nt mean that I have any ties with him or that I was .
I`ve also taken photos with alot of rock stars and professional fighters. I even have one with a pornstar but that does`nt mean that either of them they know me personally. Infact they probably dont even remember taking the photo with me.

Now is Marina Popovich one of the "top scientists" that invited Reed to Star City?
If not, please help by providing the names of the scientist so that someone can contact them to verify the invitation.
Or the actual invitation might help too.

Also can you please provide the names of the cosmonauts Reed was with so I can attempt to see if they were giving any lectures or making public appearences where a photo with them could be easilly with them.

I almost took a photo once with Richard Kiel (Jaws from James Bond) at a product show, but his photo fee was a little too high for my liking. He was really cool though.

BTW, I thought Reed was in hiding in fear of his life? Just curious as to why he is always so public?

I am still calling hoax, but im sure, as with alot of others here, I WANT TO BE CONVINCED with difinitive proof.

There is nothing more I want than a story like this to be true.

Don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to believe in people like Billy Meiers and John Hutchinson and all but I refuse to start just believing stories first, then checking into them, then deciding how to defend them better. I want to believe, it is just that so far, I cannot.

And Reed has offered what proof again? Crappy quality video of a puppet and some heavy breathing? Have you bothered to check into UFOwatchdogs claims yourself?

Please oh please provide us with the proof that

a- the man you speak of the THE top scientist in the world

b- that he believes in Reed's evidence.

You have to prove both. You are the one talking about lack of evidence. Please show us all how it should be done.
