I have used that site for many years now, and this is about normal, as Downtown stated above. As to the volcanoes, they list all currently active volcanoes everywhere, which does not mean that they are currently explosively erupting in the classic sense, as there are many levels to an eruption. The site makes things look much worse then they really are, and lists a lot of very minor events with icons that make them look like a big deal.
