Your first red pill - what was it???

I'll admit I was late on the conspiracy and I was a believer in the JFK conspiracy . A friend of mine came to me last year about a movie called loose change telling me that there were bombs in the trade center and right away my rational mind said "what are you #ing kidding me no way "
Well needless to say I watched the movie and you could say it did spark my imagination and opened my eyes .Let me say right now I'm a very rational and scientific person and the more I started looking into 911 the more perplexed I got it just didn't make sense.
I had so many questions sounding off in my head it felt like I was asleep for 5 years and just woke up .
I can say it just wasen't one thing that made me question the official story but many things .I can only imagine what others have been going through with all the new information that has been released in the last five years but I was getting it all at once .Like the 300 bone fragments found on top of the duetch building or the topic of Abledanger this for me was the icing on the cake just researching everything I could about Abledanger totally sent me over the edge and to be honest I haven't looked back.
Right after I stumbled onto this information I can say honestly for two weeks I wasen't myself I became very depressed and paranoid at the time I began watching CSPAN alot and this was during the bill to rewrite habeas corpus I can remember watching the bill fly through the house then the Senate and I remember screaming at the television "what the #uck aRE YOU PEOPLE DOING !!!? and then watching our President sign that horrible Bill into law with his minions standing behind him with evil smiles .
Well after about 2 weeks the sadness changed and the depression lifted I now felt something different I started to get angry I mean really angry , at myself at the people in power that could of done this so I started to question everything . When I watched the nbc news it just looked different or CNN , FOX all of them . Then I started seeing things in the news little red flags , one of them was and get this I don't know if anyone saw this and tell me if I'm wrong but I saw something about when they found those bones in the rubble the report came back that they said that it was from one of pilots in the plane and I thought to myself this just sounds so suspicious. And the other story was during the reelection of Curt Weldon who has been very out spoken about 911 in the media well just before the election the FBI raided his daughters house , very very ironic .What I'm getting at is I'm finally starting to realize why this world is so screwed up but I can also see the answer to our problems .And that answer is information is POWER and the Elite of this world have it but I believe they are loosing there grip on it everyday this thought is so very comforting.

I would take that Loose Change movie with a grain of salt, they have some good info but they also have some info that is false, misleading and even precisely aimed at pointing you in the wrong direction. By now I am sure you've seen "9/11 Mysteries" .... that is a far better movie with very few mistakes in it.

We've all been there, after a while that turns into anger and rage and eventually into a feeling of empowerment and a clearer mind. But the rage and anger, make sure not to loose that ever.

LOL, so many times I got to scream at the TV so I just don't bother watching it anymore. Once you see how much brainwashing there is in virtually every TV program it becomes difficult to watch any of it.

Don't start your happy dance so fast, they are working really hard at taking more control over the net and you can bet your ass if there is ever an other "terrorist attack" they will gain full control of the net.

I honestly believe these date line shows like to catch a predator is just a smoke screen to give the internet a bad name. To be honest I dont know who's worst these lonley pathetic guys trying to get laid or these basterds tricking them to think there talking to a girl that actually suckers them into there trap ..in away call me a liberal but I kinda feel sorry for the twits ..

I did read somewhere they do want to control it my brother seems to think they will never do it but I believe your right were just one more attack away from loosing everything ...

And I did see 911 mysteries I even bought it amazing video .
I hope they make the one about the planes soon.

I live in Ireland so it has taken me a while to look into this.

At first I came to ATS from a radio show I heard and was mostly into the UFO threads because of a sighting I had a few years back. Then one day I stumbled on Loose Change and I couldn't believe it, I showed it to my girlfriend that night (she isnt one for this sort of thing) and even she could see the blatant lies that have been told.


I'm a newbie for 9/11 and am now an information Junkie.

I can say this much the truth in right under everyones nose. Where is the best place to hide anything? In the open because no one looks at the obvious and what is in front and around them. My very reliable source said that The reason they get away with everything is because the public as a whole is not ready deal with certain facts and thoughts behind the way things truly operate and the reason certain events have to happen to be able to pass certain new regulations that the american people would not let happen unless they as a whole felt unsafe.

For me, it was only a few months ago that I got my "red pill". When the towers fell, I remember how shocked and saddened I was to see so many people die. I just didn't even think the government could be in on it, though I did know some of the rotten things they've done, Ruby Ridge comes to mind.

Anyway, a friend of mine asked me if I had heard of any alternative theories regarding 9/11. Since I hadn't, he encouraged me to watch 9/11 Mysteries with him. After seeing that, things really started to add up. I became and still am angered that our government could even be involved in the killing of some many innocent citizens.

Since then, I started researching more and ended up here. I don't post very often but I do enjoy what I read here. I have learned a lot and it's nice to know that besides me and a few others I know, that there are others throughout the country concerned. I have shown 9/11 Mysteries to others and have talked to others about it. While it hasn't been easy, I have convinced a few.

Every month I buy one set of 100 empty DVDs ($30) and I copy the 9/11 Mysteries movie to hand out to friends, co-workers, family and even people I talk to on the street. I ALWAYS have two dozen copies in my car and a few more on my person. Once I even wrote "PORN" on 10 of them and left them in the men's room next to the condom machine.

Building 7 was not talked about by the media, when I became aware that a building across the street went down to. That is when I went "Whoa".

If 9/11 was a government job, why do Al Quaeda still, to this day, claim responsibility for it? You would think that it would do more for their propaganda to say that 9/11 was the fault of a corrupt government, instead of a few Muslim extremists. It would be a much more effective tool for a terrorist to say that they were not responsible for such an act when they could easily point and say that the US was the murderer of those poor souls who died that day. To do so would definately have a greater impact on the American psyche. Fear and terror spread not just by those who hate your ideas of tolerance and acceptance, but even greater fear of your own government whose job it is to protect you from such threats.

For the same reason any other groupl claims rsponsibilty for things they did not do, make them seem like they are a bigger threat then they are. Gives them credit andmakes them look good among other groups. Same reason the IRA would cliam they did bombings that somene else did.

So, I guess by questioning involvement, and making these claims as you say...I'm conducting my own form of terrorism?

They knew, I know they knew. There were too many cameras there that day...Having a Grand 'Ol Time of it. Watched 'em come in they did. Some say: "No reason to cry..."

Actually, you are totally missing my point. I'm saying that if the the US did have a hand in the 9/11 attacks, why is Al-Qaeda trying to take the credit? It would instead make the US look innocent in the eyes of the world and Al-Qaeda would be cast in the role of the villian. If you have ever listened to any Al-Qaeda broadcasts, they portrait themselves noble protectors of Islam and the US as a an evil force bent on world domination.

Hmmm? If I wanted the world to think I was fighting a noble war against an overwhelming superior evil force, would I a) try to credit for destruction of thousands of civilians or b) denounce such an attack as the evil deed that it was?

Again, remember that my question was applied specifically to Al-Qaeda and their insistence that they are responsible for 9/11 and in no way claims that anyone here (unless you are a member of Al-Qaeda and do claim responsibility for 9/11) is a terrorist.

Why claim responsibility for a terrorist action you had no part in, if it only serves to give your enemies greater support?
