Why aren't these discoveries making headway around the world
Why is the news more concerned about Brittney spears crotch shot then what these discoveries imply

If these are true then we were not the first ones on earth.
we were probably seeded here, or forced to evolve.
some on was here before the dinasourse and so on and so forth

What do you think.

I liked the dental tools the Greeks used thousands of years ago- they're still the same, yet no knowledge of these were passed down?
The markings in Peru, the Sphynx, the piramids, etc, where did they come from?

I agree with you that i find this to be fascinating and worth discussing- Did you know that archeologists are not allowed to report every finding they make? I dont have a link, but i watch on tv how they cant divulge to the public everything they find. Why is that?

Not to mention the fact that earth has been nuked before and green glass has been found?

Whose experiment are we, anyway? Do we keep doing the same thing over and over and over...for what???

Just WHO is our caretaker?

I'm catholic and beleive in God but there's something amiss here...btw, there's still a missing link between humans and apes...Did aliens breed with us?

So many questions...i wish i knew all the answers...*sigh*

Me, I just wanna be like Indiana Jones, go out and hunt stuff down, but i can't afford it!!!

You guys are right, there is something amiss, maybe our lives are just one big lie. Maybe the dino's were actually being bred by those 'reptile aliens' but the 'greys' found the planet and nuked it....bye bye comet theory. then the old greys seed the planet to produce us, so when can go and fight for them....too many civilisations have vanished over night for my liking.

Why is the news more concerned about Brittney spears

Becouse simply they don't wish people to investigate the world matters. Imagine world without Holywood, virtual games, football or basketball (I am not saying i don't find them interesting, but the continuous spotlight of them turns me blind), with what everyone should have his time spared?

The answer is simple:
~With all the books we have in libraries trying to broaden our horizons.
~Travelling from one place to another on our try to learn from other civilizations
~Dealing with the problem of global conflicts
~trying to stop air/groud pollution and water condamination, something that is economically negative for corporations
~Electing politicians who are capable to take the reins of coundry e.t.c.

The point is that for the sake of wealth governments do absolute nothing to pevent the acceleration of these news. At the vary aspect of view that system isreally working for them for good.

there's still a missing link between humans and apes

In nature, evolution has an harmonic sequence. To evolve one spiece to an other new one, it takes millions of years to take. The point is that today, we see both apes and humans witch is surprisingly strange! Since it is scientifically proven that man is derived from apes, what made us evolve faster than the other monkeys'/gorrillas? What affect us that didn't affect the rest? I have no clues to warrant a gravity to my words, so the only thing i am able to make is merely conjectures

This is not the claim made by darwinian evolution at all
the actual theory is that apes and monkeys and humans all evolved from a common ancestor. we all evolved due to our surroundings differently which accounts for the apes and monkeys being different to us
they simply never chose intelligence as an evolutionary survival trait
we even know the ancestor that all three groups evolved from
it was called Proconsul Africanus

dgtempe you're entire post was astounding in its ignorance
well done

I especially like the claim that green glass can only be produced by a nuclear explosion. Obviously you've been reading the well known alternative historian David Hatcher Childress. He's a qualified economist you know. that means he knows what will sell to people who don't know any better
people like you

will # them selves because they don't have understanding that life can exist in other parts of the universe.
Religeon is a method of brainwashing for the weak minded. I mean look at muslims they are crazy they don't really like sciences point of view because it contradicts there own.

but we're not talking about religion in this thread
the subjects raised here have nothing to do with religious censorship
they have to do with the modern phenomenan of people not believing what they read in books written by qualified people
so they go and believe things in books written by unqualified people instead
i guess its a kind of religion seeing as it makes no sense to anyone who's actually researched the subjects raised outside of the lies and half truths written by the likes of Graham Hancock, David Hatcher Childress and Zechariah Sitchin
the church of Pseudoscience is always seeking new soldiers for the cause
its just a pity that none of them know anything real or the quality of discussion would be much higher

I dont know who you think you're talking to, but kindly refrain from calling me ignorant. Just because you do not agree, does not mean i'm ignorant.
Its a matter of opinion and speculation, and your opinion i could use at this time as papier de toilet pour le bain.

So act your age, and stop putting down fellow members of this board.
Good enough?

EDIT: Just noted you already have a little red banner, i guess you're aiming for two?

I think what Marduk is trying to say is: do a bit more research before you form any firm opinions on these matters.

And don't just read books written by people whose sole purpose is to make money by writing books. Read what those who have genuinely studied the subject and whom neither seek nor get wealth or publicity have to say as well.

Ask yourself : who has the most to gain?

It's theoretically possible that the Libyan desert glass was produced by a nuclear explosion. But there is no other evidence to support such a conjecture. It is equally possible that it is cargo that fell off a passing spaceship when it make a sudden swerve to avoid a bloke on a flying carpet .....
However it's also possible it was produced by an air blast from a disintegrating comet or meteoroite.

Which is really the most plausible?

Edit: btw, on the subject of missing links - you do realise that for a complete sequence we'd need a skeleton from every generation of every species that ever lived? You are the link between your parents and your children. Between you and our ape-like ancestors are many tens of thousands of generations. Each subtly different from one the one before. In a million years time, your own skeleton may be the missing link between Homo Sapiens and Homo Astra ......

Do not refrace my words! ...and i know what i have already said...

I know the darwinian theory (only in few lines: that's the scale of my ignorance) and i am asking you what was really the ingredient, or the different surrounding if you want, to evolve faster than monkies? Weren't we in the same planet with other apes? If it is so, then, why the rest apes haven't evolved alongside with us? It is like to me only certain apes were affected into evolution and all...

Dragon like
you said

scientifically proven that man is derived from apes

this is totally incorrect as I have already explained to you with a link
did you read it ?
other apes became just as specialised as we are but in different areas
you appear to think that evolving intelligence is a normal evolutionary step it isnt
how many other species on this planet have evolved our type of intellect ?

evolution is about making babies
not about being able to give them names and talk to them

I dont know who you think you're talking to

I am talking to someone who is ignorant of the facts
heres a definition of ignorance from a dictionary for you
ignorance - the state or fact of being ignorant; lack of knowledge, learning, information
clearly as you provided no credible link to ancient nuclear explosions being the only method capable of making green desert glass you are quiting from memory from some book you read written by an someone who is more than likely aware of the facts but chose not to divulge them to you because the real evidence didn't suit his agenda
do as Essan says and do a little research
this forum is for denying ignorance and not encouraging it
what
you expected a round of applause or something for what you said
you're thinking of someplace else

One moment, please.
I claim myself Cristian and i still defy God
I Know a Muslim friendgirl at the University and she supports science by far. Although she had a different religion that do not make her different from us to believe the evidence or to change her mind for the sake of science. Only biased ones deny this.
I can guess that: Watching from the telly, you can see people who curse the infidels! Of course the do and well they do. We Cristians from the first crusade haven't left them in peace. How do you you expect them to deal with cosmic problems while they have no place to rest with the recurrent wars in the middle east?
Do not forget that in the Medieval era Cristians denied science while THE ARABS saved the Mathematics and the ancient scripts!!!

It's a simple concept when you understand it, not so easy to explain in a few words though .....

Once upon a time there were a large number of primates living in a forest. However, some of them got seperated from the rest when the climate changed and the forest turned to savannah. Because they found themselves now living in slightly different environmental circumstances to their cousins, over a long time, they gradually changed in appearance and habit. However their cousins who were still in the jungle did not. Or, at least, not so much. Eventually they were so different they were no longer capable of producing viable offspring with their cousins. They were a different species.

Now, repeat that process with some of the original primates and some of the new species.

You now end up with 4 completely different, but genetically related, species - the original primates, 2 second generation species which descended from those primates, and a third generation species.

Keep the process going. But now allow some of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and even 4th generation species to become extinct.

And you end up with a world inhabited by monkeys, apes and homonids.

They're interesting but not earth-shattering, since we've gone so far beyond those old technologies. The Ankythera device is amazing... for its time. We can run circles around it with astronomical equipment of today... or even of the early 1800's.

They flesh out the picture of who we were and what we know, but most people don't want to have to learn things like the difference between Clovis points and single fluted points and the significance to the cultures or Archimedes' water moving device which was derived from the ancient Babylonian mechanism that watered the hanging gardens of Babylon.

If we taught it in school, most folks wouldn't bother to learn or remember it because it doesn't relate at all to modern life.

Actually, they do... after they confirm what it is (and sometimes after they've got a paper accepted on it because it's academic credit.) So you get information published several years after the find. They don't just walk out in the field and instantly date things.

I work for a museum and a paleontologist and I've taken archaeological courses and belong to an archaeological society. Anyone who says they can't report every finding is someone who doesn't hang around archaeologists.

It can take YEARS to properly clean and restore (glue together) something so that you can identify it. Often what's found is fragments (some are microscopic) and some poor grunt (like me) has to sit there with glue and tweezers and piece the thing together.

Imagine trying to do a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle when most of the pieces are smaller than the size of your little fingernail.

As far as evolution, if God exists and evolution exist why can't evolution be Gods tool to create what he desires?

Imagine, that you're a shepard in a primative society. God decides to educate you as too your origions so he shows you a video of evolution. It starts with a water covered planet and lightening. The next thing that you know is you have little tiny living things . Time progresses. You have multi celled creatures. Time progersses.... eventually you have man.

Now, you go back to your tribal existance and try to relate this story to your fellow man. Each generation tells the story to the next generation. Eventually you end up with a story that goes... God created man from a lump of clay...

My personal view is that evolution and religion can both be correct.

OOPARTs. Things out of time. Things that just don't fit the sequence that the historians are laying out.

It's easier to ignore items that don't fit into a particular scheme of history than to try to account for them.

Is it possible that there have been advance civilizations in ages past? Why not. But until some archaelogist uncovers a 15000 year old airplane, most people will accept the current model.

dgtempe I think your taking it to the heart. Relax a bit, we are all entitled to our opinions. It does take a little bit of self research to come to a conclusion. If this is your conclusion fine, but dont quote it or believe it just because someone else said it.

would you like to know the truth or not
or for you is ignorance bliss ?
