whoah!!

can anybody decipher that?

I only have basic skills with visual basic.

Explain where you see the counter if you can.

function __utmVisitorCode() [
var r=0,t=0,i=0,i2=0,m=31;
if ((i=a.indexOf(".",0))0) r=a.substring(i+1,i2); else return "";
if ((i=a.indexOf(".",i2+1))>0) t=a.substring(i2+1,i); else return "";
var c=new Array('A','B','C','D','E','F','G','H','J','K','L','M','N','P','R','S','T','U','V','W','X','Y','Z','1', '2','3','4','5','6','7','8','9');
return c[r>>28&m]+c[r>>23&m]+c[r>>18&m]+c[r>>13&m]+"-"+c[r>>8&m]+c[r>>3&m]+c[((r&7)30&3)]+c[t>>25&m]+c[t>>20&m]+"-"+c[t>>15&m]+c[t>>10&m]+c[t>>5&m]+c[t&m ];

You might be onto something. Looking it over it looks promising.

This counter starts at 31, not 30 as had originaly been thought
this question is also number 31, is it a clue?!

level error you are not yet worthy
distribute this site URL far and wide
the value of the reward depends on it

the remaining questions are going to be the hardest yet.
This question will revert to the planned version when site traffic levels, the result of spreading the URL, reach the expected number.

So...first 3 lines: first 2 words in bold, letter size 14 (or so appleworks tells me)
1 line empty (1 line considering that the space is for 14 size)
1 more line of the same size
2 more lines, letter size 9
Total of 7 lines, one of which is blank, 4 of them size 14, 2 size 9 (that's -5 difference in size)
I don't really know what I'm talking about but is this inspiring anyone for further research?
Does the layout remind anybody of anything else?
I don't know what to think anymore

Anagram Solution
Your query was level error, with a word limit of 2, a and I included.

Here are some phrases that can be made from that query:

error level

ya, I can't see that this is getting anywhere, doesn't look to be a counter to me, I think it's some sort of parser... And even so the game site would have to continue to poll the google site for the number, and it just seems umm, unlikely. I don't think it's really set up to work that way, but maybe they kludged it. And too much code there to dig through for now.
