Seriously, how idiotic do you have to be to look at a car and go, "That car seems gay to me"? For something to be gay, it has to have a brain and a sexual drive. A car does drive, but it doesn't have a sexual drive. It is impossible for a car to be gay.

Apparently I must be flaming out the ass, becuase I drive a 2006 Blue Scion xB with a white roof and matching spoiler. What an ignorant person you are for even thinking "Hmm...Is...is that car gay?" The only reason he's giving the car a homosexual persona is because
a) he's really crazy
b) he's really stupid
c) He's gay and in denial, so he projects his gayness onto objects around him.

What next? What else seems gay to you in this cosmos we float in? Hmm? Trees? Spoons? What else? Am I gonna read a post next saying "Don't keyboards seem gay? Who ever uses a keyboard is gay. Clothes are gay, too, that's why I don't wear clothes". Well, if that's true, then I'm a big, typing, clothed homo.

The thing that erks me about this post is your blatant disregard for people's feelings. There are gay, lesbian, and bisexual people on this forum. To post something that puts their feelings and life style into a negative light is downright insulting. How disrespected would you feel if you were in there position, if a gay person was just typing away saying how straight or heterosexual something looks. First of all, you would thing they are an idiot, and secondly you would ask them why they are being so stupid. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING! I'm not so sure about the design of vehicles, but Ford is really pushing the homosexual agenda (trying to drum up more business from only 4% of the population) and their stock has dropped like a rock, and sales are way, way down. Good for 'em.

I suspect Ford's problems have a lot more to do with dumb product decisions than with the fact that they're targeting the gay market (as just about every car company does therse days).

For example, I currently work in the livery business, where Lincoln's Town Car is a staple product - mainstay of the industry in fact. Ford is now ending production of the Town Car, despite the fact that they make about $10k on each car sold, and despite the fact that it's guaranteed to sell 45,000+ units a year.

Ford and GM's problems are due to truly amazing feats of mismanagement.
They have nothing to do with marketing campaigns that offend obsessive fundamentalists, who if anything make up an even smaller portion of the market than gays.

Subaru and VW have been marketing to gays and other niche markets for years, and seem to be doing quite well.

Where is the world are you only getting 4%? Also, how in the world can you get a statistic on people that don't want to "come out of the closet" so they would just say straight? Who taught you that there is only 4%? I have never in my life heard that statistic.

But now, I must get into my gay car and drive to a mall, where I am going to be buying home decor. Uh oh, that must mean, that the home decor shops are bending over backwards to please 4%.

If you have failed to notice, this thread is 15 pages! Denying exactly who the freedom of speech? Seems to me that after 5 pages and then continuing to 15 the threat to freedom would no longer be an issue.

How terrible that you then have created an institution of yourself and carry on to now insult the very people that made your freedom of speech on this forum a reality. I never saw this thread shut down, though yes it was moved from ATS to BTS.

Best wishes, and I hope when you grow up a little you can come back on the forum and be a contributor without doing such silly things. If you are truly in an institution, I would suggest moving to a different one? As the staff caring for you seems to lack the ability to even post an apology without turning it into a bash session, and that makes me think that there may be signs of mental illness with the employees.
