They will be met by F/A-18E Super Hornets off of the Reagan and Lincoln, then handed off to F-15 Eagles until the 747 is on the ground in Japan, then escorted back to within 50 miles of Chinese airspace.

The escort fighters? No, the escort fighters are going to orbit 10 miles outside of Japanese airspace until the Chinese 747 returns to international airspace. If US aircraft attempt to interfere with the orbiting fighters they will be fired upon.

US fighters will take no preemptive action against Chinese escort fighters. We are simply ensuring that no hostile action will be taken during the evacuation of our citizens. No attempt will be made to interfere with Chinese fighters in any way.

The PRC requests that this map of mined waters be submitted in the open. There are Chinese civilian ocean liners operating in the area of the East China Sea and Sea of japan. It would be tragic if one of these ships were sunk by a Japanese mine.

The PRC has told NK to direct its test missile fire northwards, but still believes that NK does not have to forewarn other nations of its missile tests.

South Korea rejects Chinas request for open maps of mines, as doing so would negate any value they might hold.

South Korea will however, guide any civilian ships within it's costal waters, and provide safe passage.

However, amy non allied military ships will be sunk if they encroach SK teritorial waters.

South Korea warns that any further unannounced missle tests could accidentally start an uneeded conflict, and urges North Korea to simply provide 24 hour notification. A rejection by NK to accept this will leave South Korea no choice but to begin extreme arms buildups, which could threaten to destabilize the region.

Five J-8 interceptor aircraft have been scrambled from bases along the Chinese coast and have been instructed to catch up with the two 747's. China protests the US-N escort. Aircraft will not open fire preemptively.

The US is simply protecting her citizens, and assets, and ensuring that the PRC doesn't do something underhanded during the evacuation.

More F-15s from Kadena AB are scrambled in response to the PRC scramble. No preemptive action will be taken.

The PRC cannot believe that the US would accuse the People's Republic of China of "underhanded" actions. The PRC has now scrambled seven more J-8 interceptors, who are now heading at the 747 formation on full afterburner. An extra fighter wing is on 5 minute alert. Aircraft will not open fire preemptively.

The United States aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) which is in the Sea of Japan will be put on high alert, and her fighters will scramble if China continues to launch more fighters in the airspace between Japan and herself.

The PLA-AF will only scramble more fighters if the US insists on launching more fighters. If the US aggressors stop this needless action, China will stop reacting.

The US is not initiating anything, we are simply stating that our fighters will escort the 747's within Japanese air space, and we will escort them back to within 50 miles of Chinese airspace.

All South Korean military assets have been put on high alert because of Chinas needless escilation of force around a civilian passenger plane carrying foriegn citizens.

South Korea strongly urges China to stand down after the 747's have left it's air space.

China has ordered the last consignment of J-8 to return to base. Remaining fighters will continue to escort 747's.

The United States will continue escorting the 747’s within Japanese airspace, several F-15 fighters have been recalled to Kadena AFB in Japan. The USS Kitty Hawk is still on high alert, but it will not scramble any fighters.

Message from Kim Jong-il

North Korea maintains the right to test their rockets and missiles on thier own timetable and will continue to do so. The military escalation in and around South Korea constitutes a clear and present danger to the nation and these nations will feel the wrath of the North Korean people.

CNN Breaking News-

This just in, as the military escalation appears to be under control off the shores of China the cities of Seoul and Tokyo were rocked late this afternoon as multiple car bombings were reported in the cities. Apparently the Seoul bombing occured very near the US Embassy. The numbers are still coming in but it appears 100's have been killed and many more seriously injured. NK denies any knowledge of the attack but suggests Al-Qaeda could be responsible b/c of the SK and Japan ties to the USA. No word for USA officials at this point.

South Korean intel shows nothing that supports North Koreas claim of AQ involvement.

An investigation is currently under way to see who was behind the attacks.

OOC-As events are escalating somewhat again, I vote that if we don't hear from a judge as to rules for combat, by the end of the night tonight, the major powers sit down and work out how combat will work, and what rules will apply.

The United States will deploy the Marine expeditionary unit that was onboard the USS Bonhome Richard to defend the US embassy and other government buildings in Seoul.

US Marine units in Japan have also been put into alert around the US Embay.

The United States finds the timing of the bombings suspicious, the US along with the countries that were bombed have launched a full investigation into the blasts. If any ties are found linking the attacks to North Korean forces the US will take immediate military action against North Korea.
