So take a step back and look at the "rules of engagement" (how to get nominated as a candidate for a political party) and do your speculation based on that. You'll get a better sense of who's really in the game.

So you're saying the Democrats would obey the rules? For the first time?

Perhaps most significantly, Zwonitzer preserved near-verbatim transcripts that contain incriminating information about Mr. Eiden, including transcripts of the February 16, 2017 conversation where Mr. Eiden said he "just found all the classified stuff downstairs."

Indict him.

They don't have to do anything, just let him take himself out.

Keep putting him in front of the "press", and he'll be gone in sixty seconds...

LMFAO 😂

Democrats, Republicans, and various other political organizations like the Green Party and the Libertarians. The process I described was also taken from Republican election eligibility sites. If a potential candidate can't even get enough signatures o get on state ballots, political parties aren't going to bother with them.

Political history's quite interesting, and if you take the time to read up on the process it's actually pretty fascinating.
But be sure you get the scoop from official sites; not from op-eds and blogs/vlogs. Most of the ones writing op-eds are doing rants to get clicks and eyeballs and very few of them have actually run for office (I'd swear most of them haven't even voted in recent times) and almost none of them has ever worked as an election worker. So they're generally going off the rails about everything (again, so they can monetize.)

The BBC's got a GREAT article on how the Republicans pick a nominee (note that it takes several years; they don't just go eeeny-meeny-miney-mo) www.bbc.com...

Wikipedia covers the Libertarian process -- most of these men are generally unknown outside their own party: en.wikipedia.org...

And the government has a primer (designed for schools) on how candidates are selected: www.loc.gov...

So I hope you'll take a gander at those articles; as I said, they're quite interesting and will give you a better idea of what's actually possible.

Yeah... No. Ramaswamy is far too right of center to be accepted as a democrat.
