After watching this video which every American needs to see. Surely there can only be one positive and corrective way forward and that is to bring all those involved in the attempted coup to justice!!

And Flynn should be given his job back!

If this doesn't happen then the future looks bleak.

The American people must not let this be brushed under the carpet. A coup attempt is a coup attempt regardless of how it is conducted!

So after not even 2 and half centuries, democracy appears to have failed.

All the checks and balances put in place by the founding fathers and the following amendments didn't save it.

This is bleak for all of us.

This has been a bad couple of years.

Think about the implications.... think longer.


Let's hope the wrongs are corrected and the face of democracy can be saved.

The strength of our system is governance is also a weakness. In a fascist dictatorship a ruler could eliminate opposition by fiat. Here we have what I'd called rule of law, which requires process. Evidence, legal procedures, etc.

The problem is that this is a long game and among the people who are supposed guard that process are many who have either been compromised or who have an interest in circumventing or altering it.

Because we are not talking about some 3rd world country.
And we are not talking about some Hollywood movie.

We are talking about (probably) the best designed democracy in the world. That has so many "checks and balances" in place, that this should not be possible. Even "we the people" have been misled into complacency and those who realized what was going on pushed into a corner they didn't belong...

Correcting the mistake is more then "hanging them all by nooses". Democracy can only win by following the rules of democracy.

Which makes it very complicated.

Because at some point they either admit the reality of the situation, or they expose themselves as by-any-means-necessary ideological fascists who hate the United States so much that they are actively contributing to spreading misinformation.
