Clearly no one wants to bomb Seattle? That's not factual based on this thread. Post after post.
The President of the United States doesn't need to make petty threats. Makes him look small. Doesn't help anything.
It's not his place to intervene in local law enforcement. It's not, by law, by legal precedent ... and just by common sense.
Think about it from the Republican side for a minute. Trump sends in the Marines, or Special Forces teams.
What optics is that going to give the Democrats to use 24/7 all the way to November 3rd.
There's no logical sense in that from any angle.

Sawant is one of the highest known members of the Trotskyist group called "Socialist Alternative", and has been behind such activities such as forcing the Homeless in her District to conduct voter fraud in the last election cycle. It has already been known that Inslee will be using the same method this election cycle to try and force a win.
A socialist Seattle city council member will introduce a bill to keep a downtown area seized by protesters in “community control.” Kshama Sawant, of the Socialist Alternative party, announced that her office was currently working on legislation to protect the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ.
Protesters claimed control over a six-block area in Seattle’s third police precinct, after officers were ordered to abandon the precinct building.

Let me get this straight, these are liberals right? First thing they do after taking over the area is establish a BORDER. Lol.
So are they for or against open borders?
I also read yesterday they already ran out of vegan food and asked for donations.
Just switch off electricity, water and wifi.
They can't even be one day without soy products, lets see them struggle without their special foods and internet.
I feel ashamed for them. Whilst people all around the world are kept as slaves, sex slaves, domestic slaves, construction slaves, women are raped, some can't even work on the fields in Africa because guys are hiding in the bushes, raping them every day. Women are killed 2-4 a week by a male partner in the UK, women have to endure genital mutilation of which many die due to infections.
There are feral children on the streets, eating rubbish, getting high on solvents.
If any of these were rescued and told they could live in the USA, the only thing is that it may be that they perceive the world as if not everyone totally loves them. They would cut their extremities off for that opportunity and safety.
All these people are suffering actual oppression, sexism, racism [arabs vs blacks or phillippinos], will never see their families again or end up being killed for no reason but what I just listed.
And here are these frigging wet vegan virtue signalling wet blankets, wearing the newest trainers and having mobile phones, protesting against racism because colour is involved but no evidence of actual racism.
They shouls be ashamed. If I could help anyone right now in the world it would be those that really need help and not those who live in the richest country on the planet, where everyone who works hard has the same opportunities.

You now see that Carmen is at odds with our Mayor on the situation.

What is the stance of the mayor? I see she thinks this could
be the "summer of love".

The stance of the mayor is that it is a peaceful protest

So, she is pretty much in agreement with the more
left side of the council members?
I read they will be taking a look at defunding the police.

Not only that she wants to keep the 7 blocks in CHAZ's control
Sawant wants CHAZ in permanent control
