One of the reactions on Twitter said something about "can they stop and think for 2 seconds?"

That's the really hilarious part. They DID think about this, pretty hard, and thought it was worth mentioning on national television during a discussion of how much money was involved in politics.

If they just saw it on air and quickly quipped on it, maybe you can understand the momentary mistake. These morons put serious thought into this and thought it was some profound revelation.

And remember, these people believe socialism works. Now we know why.

They also think Trump supporters are complete morons. Never, ever stop ridiculing these people. They deserve every minute of it.

The critical thinking of liberals has something very wrong with it. I am starting to realize more and more just how bad it is through conversations I have.

One blew my mind by initially believing that Republicans didn't vote on Super Tuesday.....even calling me a idiot....i then pointed out that Trump had almost the same amount of votes in TX as all the dems combined.

The person then resorted to name calling.....it is crazy to me. It is like they are viewing and listening to some alternate world than the one I live in

I don't even know how you can expect civil discussions with leftists these days. My brother is the only truly left Democrat I know and we've had to come to an agreement that anything about politics is off limits between us.

My brother and I had to have a similar arrangement. Every time we would get into a political argument, he would take it so personally and attack my character, for example calling me a "moral coward" because I disagreed with his half-baked thoughts on gun control. Everything was personal attacks. All I ever did was disagree with him on issues.

The good news is, in the last year or two, he's become seriously red-pilled from watching just how insane the Democrats have gotten. When I tell leftists on here that they're turning moderates and Independents to Trump, it's from personal experience. My brother is a moderate, union, blue-collar Democrat. He's voting for Trump in November.

But truthfully, you cannot deny that comments about how that money could have been better spent to benefit people hasn't been all over on both sides of the political spectrum.

I was actually laughing about this yesterday while getting ready for work. I was talking to my wife about how it's funny that with how much money he put into this that he only got so much approval for it.

Now I'm not saying this would have worked or not, but with how much money he was willing to invest in all of this, I can think of a better way to have gone about it. Rather than having done what he did, he should've just came out and said something along the lines of:

"My fellow Americans. I am currently wanting to run for President of the United States because I care about our country as well as for our people. I have $500 million dollars budget in front of me, but I will not give it to any advertising firm. I will not be giving it to any business, any corporation, no, nothing like that. I wish to invest it into our biggest commodity; Our people. I understand many people are in major debts, much of that being college loans. I wish to help with that. I have a website created to assist with this. Go to this site, fill out the information, and we will look into it. If the debt is valid, we will pay it off for you, and we will do this for everyone until the $500 million is all used up."

Sorry, I'm barely awake and caffeinated, so maybe the paragraph wasn't necessary, but think about it. If he actually paid off peoples college loans, that's quite possibly all the advertising he would need. Sure, some would just take advantage, but many people would be appreciative and I'm sure his approval rating would've been MUCH higher. Many moderates may have swung back the other way, and it's quite possible that people would even forgive his past mistakes. I'm sure one of the things used against him was all the terrible things he's said and done in his past, he's a very unlikable person, but if people can forgive Trump because their paychecks are bigger, then I'm certain this would've worked as well.

At least, if nothing else, he could've gotten more than 5%. lol

Look, Man...Here's The Deal...

MSNBC proves it has ZERO fact-checkers...at least none that can do 3rd. grade math.

Imagine how many layers of the network this had to make it through to reach 'On Air'.
...AND EVEN THEN...Brian Williams agreed with and commented on it.

These people are stupid.
Trust MSNBC at your own risk.

Yeah....it really is funny that this segment had to go through multiple folks to make it on air. Wonder how bad the one that sent it at the start is getting railed right now.

Talk about making them all look really stupid....lol

No need to get triggered. If you don't like what he posts, why do you read it? Your reaction only highlights what he mentioned regarding "critical thinking ability".

Actually, the "haters" are an asset that will help President Trump get re-elected by a bigger landslide.

It's just too bad they are mentally destroying themselves in the process.

While the math is wrong, he would have to have over 327 trillion to be able to give every american 1M and have some left over, your reading comp is also pretty awful.

They didn't say $500 million dollars, spread over 327 million = 1M each.

I told my Democrat/MSM-watching wife yesterday about Biden saying he wanted a young VP, cause it's likely he'll die in office. She didn't believe me. I showed her his January 29th statement. Her reply, "We need somebody else besides 2 old angry men".

During the FoxNews Presidential Town Hall yesterday, President Trump said after he wins in November, Democrats will stop being so hateful, begin to work with him to accomplish even greater things for the U.S.A..

Or worse, they knew darn good and well the math was bad but they were counting on the complete willfil ignorance, stupidity, gullibility, what have you of their viewers to accept it at face value without thinking about it because it sounds like what they want to hear and believe.

$527 million dollars and 327 million people comes nowhere near making $1 million/person although there would be enough for all of us to get a bit out of it if it were redistributed and shared out equally, roughly $1.60. And that's assuming Uncle Sam doesn't feel like he needs his 30 to 50% cut off the top.

This is the whole wealth distribution argument that if we take from the rich and spread it out everyone will be well off. It is basically the same math they used in their example. As a REAL example, if we taxed everyone in America who makes more than 10 million per year 60% and gave that directly to every adult over the age of 18 in America then we would all get 1700 dollars per year or 82 cents per hour raise if you turned it to hourly. The rich are crazy rich at the individual level, but almost nothing at the 210 million adult level, much less at the 330+ million population level.

500 million is still a lot of money, so if I was going to use a smart analogy as to what it could have been used for, think of setting up porti potty services for the homeless. If we take LA and had 1250 porti potties placed strategically it would cost about 3 million per year to manage them providing a needed service. 500 million would fix much of this poop issue in many big cities.

He said, and I quote...

"Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads. The U.S. population is 327 million. He could have given each American $1 million and still have money left over, I feel like a $1 million check would be life-changing for people. Yet he wasted it all on ads and STILL LOST."

So what is it that he said that @carewemust didn't comprehend correctly?

I saw "He could have..." implying a separate scenario.

Now I see that "he wasted it all on ads" brings it back so, I was wrong.
