If there's one thing about atheists you can be sure of it's their over inflated opinion of their own intelligence.

They know everything about the creation, formation and design of the universe because well.... science.

Forgetting science is incomplete and progressive.

No, but you could stop trolling people that do as if you have some kind of supreme knowledge which gives you the right to shoot down their beliefs.

Still waiting on this artificially created life you speak of.

You don't mind demanding research and scientific proof when it suits you so if you could be so kind as to return the favour?

So I do believe you are religous, just pretending not to be, hence the reason you are not attacking religous people and there stupid remarks!

As I said before, and linked, we have created basic life. What do you think we could be able to do in 50/100 years time?

No matter how delusional and clueless carsforkids is, at least he does not have another agenda, as you clearly do! Just admit you believe in God! Are you ashamed?

At best he will show how scientists used a pre existing
bacteria changed a number of codons and called it new life.

They didn't create life they changed pre existing life.

Total BS.

All semantic's

What? It's obvious that the way technology is going, that it's only a matter of time begore we create more life. You have been pretty much clueless throughout this thread, so I do not expect you to understand.

life-like

And the whole experiment simulates creation nothing else.

I knew if I waited long enough you'd prove my point!

No you are wrong. They didn't create life. They used an already existent DNA template from an E. Coli strand and modified it to suit their experiment. You getting your science information from independent.co.uk insists on a lack of understanding of fundamental science. Then you have the gall to call someone else an idiot because you can't understand an actual science journal article.

No matter how delusional and clueless carsforkids is

You think you're an ancestor of a mutant monkey that was ultimately generated from an accidental miraculous pond goo. That's about as delusional as it gets.

He can't seem to understand that in the end everything they
do they are only simulating creation.

Who's the creator of this experiment that uses a petri dish in a lab.

Looks like creation to me. All be it in a different method of
back engineering.

Why don't you actually read the article! It's only a matter of time before we can create more types of life! If you think that's not possible, then you are delusional! But of course you will dismiss things that go against your belief. Thsts what people like you do!

I do believe in creation so yes you could argue I belive in God but not the one from religious texts. I think I know my beliefs better than you.

We have not created life from the ground up. Not even close.

As the link says

There were just eight ingredients: two proteins, three buffering agents, two types of fat molecule and some chemical energy. But that was enough to create a flotilla of bouncing, pulsating blobs — rudimentary cell-like structures with some of the machinery necessary to divide on their own.

So, you are all talking rubbish! lol
