I agree with your statement that the general majority are uninformed, and yes definitely by design. But I don't think it stops at immigration, it covers almost all knowledge, and even what knowledge is itself, people do not know that.

However, as you allude to when you say 'by design', it's not their fault. People shouldn't be blamed for being 'not clever', people should only be blamed when they have been given the tools and chosen not to use them. Even then, maybe that's not their fault, they're conditioned not to learn, or to want to.

It's pretty crazy that some of the cleverest guys I know say to me "I know it's consumerism designed to take my money, but I just have to have it!"

I'm sure I have read in a couple of places that the human eye can hardly tell the difference between 1080p and 4k displays, let alone 8k or whatever.

Have to say im 43, still a bit of a technology fanboy and i can indeed tell the difference between 1080p and 4K.

Don't ken about 8K though, thats a bit to far.

Ile be happy when super HD 4K 144hz displays become affordable all the same.

You can go too far and end up a card carrying tin foil hatter who refuses to believe anything at all that is on MSN.

The BBC work with two big British Intel agencies to spy on Americans before 2017. They are scared that President Trump will expose the whole lot.

Perspective is the key there, multiple sources of information from different NEWS streams tends to allow one to somewhat read between the lines, at least some of the time anyway.
