So when trump asked about paying them in cash and Cohen says No no what is that? They are in on the crime together.

Let them do as they will. Campaign finance fraud?

Like the DNC going halfsies with Clinton to pay Fusion GPS to hire foreign intelligence operatives to participate in our elections by carrying out opposition research on an American presidential candidate?

Let them. What they do, sets a precedent for what will be done to them.

Give them slack to hang

Let's not forget that the FBI claimed Carter Page was a foreign agent, and he was the original FISA target.

twitter.com...

He wasn't a foreign agent. But the FBI swore (under oath) he was.

Haha if it's not a crime then what the hell is the southern district of New York doing?

I don't have the link now but INDIVIDUAL 1 is not Trump. It is a Russian dude named Omar (I think, could be wrong on the name). Anyways, this SDNY prosecution is about the taxi business.

Campaign finance violations will produce nothing more than a fine.

There are a few people I've been following regarding this and they have been very critical of Trump and they were underwhelmed by these filings.

Wrong, unless some Russian guy became president of the USA that I never heard of:

Straight from the sentencing documents:

In January 2017, Cohen formally left the Company and began holding himself out as the “personal attorney” to Individual-1, who at that point had become the President of the United States.

In any case, these filings don't really have an impact on Trump at all.

Put a tune to it.

So no Russian collusion then?

Hasn’t that been the left’s claim the whole time?

Just more allegations on Trump that will result in further wasting of our time and money. Oh, and no impeachment. But by any means necessary...

We’ll see who’s right very soon

But, money investigating Hillary and Obama's birth certificate is OK.

Yes, we will see that Trump is self serving.

Well, to put it another way, the FBI is recommending a strong sentence against Cohen because of how UNCOOPERATIVE he was. I don't think he gave them anything on Trump.

You have everything wrong. They( the southern district) did not say that he was uncooperative. They just dont think they got enough help.
Robert Mueller has a different opinion and obviously Cohen was more cooperative with him than with the southern district.

So that's a no then?

No Russian collusion?

Just checking. No one said, "I was completely wrong, no Russian collusion has been proven"

It's hard to tell when you guys preserve your integrity and make factual corrections about incorrect assumptions you once parroted as true.

No one actually redacted that accusation yet.

It was the crux of your argument when this all began.

We never denied Trump was a playboy. You people did call him a traitor.

Traitor for sleeping with consenting adult women?

Really?

Guess that's the only recourse now.

No they are suggesting a strong sentence because he committed serious crimes.

It was a simple question you avoided because you were wrong and can't admit it. / lack of integrity on your part.

There was no Russian collusion. There was an affair.

You said different. You. Were. Wrong.

By the way. No one cares about an affair.

And no one is going to say that. The collusion was another case. Not this one.
So dont try to make it all one and then say see no mention of collusion.

There are several cases being investigated at this time.

Trump is a crook. If he'd lost we'd be seeing four or five years in prison for him too. But we will have to suffice with impeachment. Maybe go after him after he's been booted out in shame as the first president to be removed from office because of crimes.

The BC is completely irrelevant at this point.

Secondly hillary and obama are self-serving too. But because we’re talking about Trump, its ok for you to be a hypocrite.

Got it!

As I've pointed out numerous times in the past couple of days, and you've consistently skirted around it - Trump is not a career politician, nor a lawyer like many politicians. I wouldn't expect him to be aware of every legal aspect of campaign finance laws. I would expect him to employ a lawyer for exactly that purpose. Which is what Cohen was contracted to do.

It's like the taxi driver analogy I keep referring to. Even though I might tell him to hurry, he is the one who gets the speeding fine. He is contracted as a driver to know and adhere to the road rules.

If you read the transcript of the Trump and Cohen tapes, Cohen says a lot if "I did this... " and "I've set this up..." language. That's not the talk of a contracted lawyer giving sage advice... Cohen's 'no no no' is saying don't pay in cash because he has a better way. He's not saying 'we can't do this because it is illegal'.

So no collusion? Answer please.

Unless you think he is STILL being investigated for that. Then you would show you are misinformed.

There was no Russia collusion. What I said stands.

You ARE wrong about that. Can't admit it.
