I just finished listening to "Suspicious Mind" and then refreshed the page here and saw that you posted it!
How did your foraging go? Did you find any mandarin oranges? (I have 2 cookies left out of 3 whole boxes!)

Night! Hi hunny, I'm still here...kind of in and out, and listening to music.
Aren't you supposed to be having a nap after eating turkey, lol?

I did indeed find mandarin oranges... as well as some trail mix.

Going grocery shopping tomorrow, need to remember more oranges and nuts as snack food.
I really love popcorn, but as one ages, so does the space between tooth and gum, making corn kernel husks much easier to get wedged deep into the gum area. My dentist said “Absolutely no popcorn”. I try and listen to her, though at times I break down to a craving.😏

I downloaded ten one shots for Deadlands Reloaded (a campaign setting for Savage Worlds. I've been solo-gaming with four characters. I like the system. The skills are by die type, like your shooting might be a D6 or a D8. After this I'm going to play Lone Wolf Adventures. The books got me into rpgs. They're like Choose Your Own Adventure books but have combat.

Deadlands Reloaded

Lone Wolf books

They came out with an RPG for it finally. I read through it and it looks really cool.

Hiya Skiddy!

Haven't heard Uriah Heep in some time. I first heard of them many, many years ago from a couple of record reviewers who sent me records they didn't care for or liked but knew I might enjoy them. I was the first one around here to have ever heard of Kiss. I was lucky to have been introduced to so many bands back then.

How do I not know this? I was a huge Kiss fan!! My mother was appalled.
They were my first concert ever...1976. I was almost 16.
I knew you met bands, I just never heard about this.

Sheye...Oh I can't eat popcorn these days. My teeth are not good. It's been a source of a lot of pain and a change to soft food. When I say I have cookies, they are soft baked cookies lol.

I probably only mentioned it once and it could have been in a music thread. Not sure. They were actually pen pals. Remember the good old days of pen pals? Two guys who did record reviews. Actual records that spun around and around. LOL

Soft baked cookies are great. So are crunchier ones dunked in tea or milk.

If there is any advice I can give to young adults... it’s take care of your teeth consistently. Stay away from too many carbonated beverages ( like pop ).. that wear the enamel down, and eventually weakens to cause breakage.

Old age creeps up on a person fast, and your faced with a human temple that is breaking down and not serving its purpose as well.

My mate was a kiss freak.

He persuaded me to See them live at the Sydney Showground.

I appreciated them more after that experience !

Dire Straits were excellent live too.

Dunno why , but I did not get to the Pink Floyd gig at the Empty container. (Sydney Entertainment Centre)

Still giving myself upper cuts ...

Still I did get to see lots of great Aussies live !

AC/DC, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Icehouse, the Mentals, Skyhooks INXS ... the list goes on and on.

I was born into the last of the police state free spirits.

Now it is all about repression.
