Hello to everybody who was here...or is here.

Today was a "stay home and stare out the window at all the snow" kind of day.

Hope everyone is well.
I will be in the kitchen making tea if anyone's around.

I checked the calendar to find out that today is National Send Night Star an Email Day and have done so.

BTW, nice spoon Gordi.

Hi Jacy.. hope you didn’t go snowblind staring at that snow all day. 😉

I was having cramping issues today, and decided I didn’t want to hobble about getting groceries. Need to meet someone for breakfast tomorrow, so I’ll grab a few needed items after that rendezvous.

Was the snow sparkly ? 😏 I love when the snow sparkles.

Hey you!
I actually just sent you an email.

Is it weird that some of us come here to tell someone that we have left a message for them somewhere else? (email or private message)
It's like a scavenger hunt, lol.

Hi Sheye!
Funny you said that...I noticed how bright it was last night with all the snow. Today was overcast but still everything was very 'bright'.
I'm sorry you were hurting today. I can relate to needing groceries but not wanting to hobble around getting them.

You have a morning rendezvous tomorrow? I hope you have a lovely time. I always loved going out for breakfast.

Yeah, my spoon was MUCH better than all the fancy schmancy mechanical French tables and hidden drawers and stuff...
took me half an hour that did... and I can confirm that it is designed for stirring, spooning and nothing else....

No, not THAT kind of spooning....

Oh look! A Squirrel!

Hi Jacy, Hi Luke!

Hey Gordi!

Your spoon was great but I prefer your mushrooms, lol. Are you still making them and then 'setting them free' in the woods?

I'm also not into fancy shmancy furniture but the secret compartments are cool.
Good place to stash your (oh! squirrel!!)...Just kidding. I don't get out much.

Hi Hunny,
Thank You.
YES. The mushrooms MUST be made and Set freeeeeee...
and, they are still disappearing later! (It's the strangest thing!)

I love that...your mushroom crusade.

How are you doing tonight? Chronic fatigue still kicking your butt?

I read that you rented the flat? That's good.
I was surprised at the rent. That would fetch about $1200-$1500/month here...much more than what you were asking.

Hello everyone.
Well like many of you we also got a good bit of snow yesterday.
So it inspired me to post this song of mine everywhere on the internet for the occasion.

I wrote this song, I play all the instruments, and I do all the vocals.
So there is no one to blame for it but me.
Now I'm not jumping the gun here.
This is not a Christmas song. I wouldn't even call it a holiday song.
No, this song is weather related.
It's true we are approaching the season when you start hearing songs about winter characters.
Songs about "Frosty the Snowman," or "Susie Snowflake," or "Jack Frost."
But I realized there is a forgotten winter character that we all know and see, but no one has taken the time to give him a song.
Until now.
So seeing how many of us experienced an early snowfall yesterday and today,
I thought this would be an appropriate time to introduce you again to the forgotten winter friend,
"Stanley The Slushpile."
(Forgive me.)

I'm doing OK.
Had a sh*tty week health-wise but am getting there!
The Flat IS rented out!!! woohoo!!
Rent is pretty cheap, but we needed it LET quickly to make up for our other flat.... don't go there! grrrr.
I'm having a glass or three of red wine tonight... not sure if that's a good idea or not but heyho...
The boys both have rugby games this weekend again, so I'm looking forward to that.... sort of!
You OK?

Hey Tom! Good to see you!
I loved your song...just not the subject matter. My world is now covered in Stanley (and we are not amused!).
Please give *hugs* to Gail for me.

Gordi...Roy had the skills, truly talented. I remember him from "HeeHaw"...not sure if you would know that show. It's old, like me, lol.
I'm doing ok thanks.
