The mayor in that case was indeed correct in her actions.

They had a list of a couple hundred violent offenders and around 800 or so people whos crime was just crossing the border.

Funny how the fe3ds will not just round up the violent ones cause their goal is to remove all and their actions and words clearly show they want all of them gone.

If i woke up tomorrow to find out illegal immigrants with violent past had been rounded up and being held in an old wal mart i would cheer them on.

the constitution is clear that the feds can deport anyone who is not naturalized

that means not committing crimes and speaking american

the states can allow in whoever and however many they want

that is how the founders laid it out for us to play it out

it would not be hard to clean things up using that logic cause it would stop judges from screwing us over and over again

Currently they can not deport them.

In my opinion we can have compassion and vet some of these people that can take care of themselves and at the same time tighten up the border so we don't get overrun by bad apples. We are never going to get any comprehensive immigration reform if we don't get to the negotiating table and make some concessions with each other to get a logical, humane answer to the problem.

None and thats the big issue about this whole thing. The change zero tolerance enforcement of detaining all people including families crossing the border with out proper papers (whether they be asylum seekers or not) until court hearings is the causing factor in the change.
