Guess she should have protected herself better being her body and all.

Yeah it's too bad he didn't use Trojan Weenie protection and all.

Aw cool you've got sockpuppet star pals.

I starred him because he makes complete sense.

Any woman who would deny a man the right to raise his child ( as a single parent) because she can’t be bothered to give birth to it ,needs to be the one on birth control.

You sound like a very selfish woman who wants it both ways. I choose to have the baby , he pays.. If I choose not to , tough luck for him if he wants the child.

Women who think like you are a disgrace to our gender .

Wrong. It's ALWAYS MY BODY.
ALWAYS 24/7 mine.

So, you're ok with defunding planned Parenthood? My tax dollars, 24/7 always mine. You may have the right to choose, where's MY right to choose how my taxes are allocated? I'd be fine with your right to abort, if it's paid for out of your own pocket.

I didn't know there was Planned Parenthood in Ireland.

oh, so you must have a thing about people donating funds to planned parenthood to help subsidize abortion for the poor...
right????

by the way, this thread isn't about planned parenthood.. it's about the repeal of an amendment in ireland that basically gave the fetus equal rights, the same as the women who carries it within her. heck it doesn't even change the abortion laws of all of ireland, just that portion not governed by the UK.
it just takes away the equal rights idea. they are hoping that by the end of the year, they can have legislation passed that will allow abortion on request up to the 12th week, and longer in special cases...
like mom's miscarrying the baby and there's nothing to do... so doctors won't think that all they can do is sit around on their arses while the women suffers till the heartbeat stops and infections has overrun her body... who knows, maybe it will save a life or two...

Well, I can agree with laws needing to be changed for special cases. My wife and myself went through a similar tragedy just recently. We lost our second child and had to force a miscarriage. Worst weekend of our lives. I wish your Mother the best and hope it gets resolved soon.

Right attitude ? As another fetus struggles for life as they are sucked out of the womb and sold for body parts.

I’m sure that baby has an entirely different opinion on what is the right attitude!

The country and people of Ireland will reap what they sow.

At the end of the day the people of Ireland have spoken and in a democratic manner voted to allow abortion.
I suggest instead of wanting it banned it would be best to use that energy looking into ways of reducing abortion, education for one.

I'm happy for my UK taxes to fund abortions for vulnerable mothers, and the Irish people agree as well...call it socialist I don't give a #.

EDIT
I was happy the UK offered an alternative to women in the republic of Ireland, lying about length of stay/citizenship status using a mates UK address just to get it free on the NHS. I care about women in such a situation, even if they ain't British.
