ALWAYS 24/7 mine.

It's not just what they do with their bodies.
The end result is a child that will need care and food and clothing and schooling.
In the end it's another household member to provide for. Not just a bunch of cells.
It changes the lives of everybody around them too.

I had a lot of friends that had 5, 6, 7 siblings....
that makes for a lot of stress!!! most of those kids were conceived before abortion was legal and birth control pills were in common use.. heck I was born before they hit the market even.
and, yes, momma's little helper was a thing. so while we sit and gripe about how horrible it is that women are taking control of their reproductive systems and the number of children they bring into the world...
maybe we should consider the past and ask ourselves, was it really that great having a bunch of kids raised by mothers popping tranquilizers on a daily basis just to get by.

but mostly it was just a reaction of reading so many posts asking me how I would feel if I was aborted....
my mom didn't have that choice, at least not the legal choice. she brought five children into this world. her drug of choice was alchohol. it was also her medicine of choice whenever any of us kids would complain of any type of pain.
maybe if she had had a choice not to bring some of us into the world, she might have been a better mother to the ones she did bring into the world.

It's a song about stress not about abortion.

What a drag it is getting old
"Kids are different today, "
I hear ev'ry mother say
Mother needs something today to calm her down
And though she's not really ill
There's a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day

"Things are different today, "
I hear ev'ry mother say
Cooking fresh food for a husband's just a drag
So she buys an instant cake and she burns her frozen steak
And goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And two help her on her way, get her through her busy day

Doctor please, some more of these
Outside the door, she took four more
What a drag it is getting old

"Men just aren't the same today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
They just don't appreciate that you get tired
They're so hard to satisfy, You can tranquilize your mind
So go running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And four help you through the night, help to minimize your plight

Doctor please, some more of these
Outside the door, she took four more
What a drag it is getting old

"Life's just much too hard today, "
I hear ev'ry mother say
The pusuit of happiness just seems a bore
And if you take more of those, you will get an overdose
No more running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
They just helped you on your way, through your busy dying day

First stanza..mama needs something to calm her down.

I was born in 1957. Before the pill and before abortion was legal. Yes there were pills that could abort but they didn't always work. And this song is NOT about those pills. Sorry you're wrong.

I ain't saying it was about abortion...
it's about how some mothers coped before there was birth control and legal abortions, ya know, when the average family size, at least in the area I grew up with was far more than 2.5 kids.
as well as how some in the medical profession treated them.

There's no such thing as a soul. It's a fairy tale we tell because of death.
But death is it. It's over. Better eat ice cream and # while you can.

lol, that made me # laugh...

I don't give a damn if a woman decides to rip a baby out of her.
But it's a pathetic excuse to say it's not a human life until it crosses the magic vagina line.

But hey, it's her body her choice, the man doesn't get a say.
Unless she decides to have the baby, then she expects him to pay for it.

An auto correct misprint gets that... Real nice.

Why should he pay?
Her body.
Her choice.
Her responsibility.

I hope you never have to meet the one unfortunate soul that is waiting for you on the other side that will simply ask 'why'?

You do understand that is your belief.

Right?

Wow, a lefty telling someone their beliefs are wrong. In not so many words. Imagine that.

Your opinion I'm Left is what?

Don't make yourself look stupid by personal interpretation of what someone factually states.

Yet again, your own statement went over your head.
