The problem is that Mueller's team is ideologically brainwashed into attacking Trump. These people legitimately believe he's a threat to their utopia democracy (vs. our existing democratic Constitutional Republic - which is quite different from a democracy)

They are the type of folks who are glued to CNN/Rachel Maddow/Jimmy Kimmel and all those other brain dead "celebs" who peddle their opinion around like it was some kind of fact. They get their news from those types of sources, and parrot the allegations like they are anything other than political retribution from a failed ideology in its death throes.

Trump, however, was a private citizen when this ALLEGEDLY happened. Nothing has been proven whatsoever. Hush money is common before elections and high profile events. Who's lawyer paid one of many people claiming to have slept with him in order to ensure the radical left didn't have any ammo to use against him at election time. Sorry, too busy *winning* to worry about POTUS and some stripper from a decade ago.

And don't forget, Mueller confessed Trump is not and has not been a criminal target in his investigation.

Just to add some info.

Bill Clintons mess is what defined the limits of the doctrine of sovereign immunity for the President. Clinton tried to argue he was protected by that doctrine as President. The courts ruled anything that occurs prior to becoming President are not covered under that doctrine and by extension the President is subject to court actions.

Clintons tryst with women, before and after he was elected, was not a crime.

His lying about it under oath is what got him.

The same thing MUeller is trying to do here. Going back to Stormy Daniels she already tried once to get a judge to allow her lawyer to interrogate Trump and his lawyer under oath. The judge denied the request however they just filed another motion to do it.

No one else finds it too coincidental that Mueller tries for the perjury trap only to see another lawyer going after Trump trying the same tactic?

Collusion is nonexistent so he will never find it.

I get the impression that if they cant bring Trump down they will do everything in their power to ensure Trump is distracted from leading while Democrats obstruct everything just to spite him.

I think that mindset by the left is ironic.

They (Democrats/Clinton) claim not all Americans are deplorable yet they think the people who elected Trump got it wrong and want to redo it. In that action they are in fact saying the people who voted for Trump arent intelligent enough to vote correctly.

Its getting to the point that I want some heavy handed, "fist on the table" type reactions from the executive branch.

Once people are detained, they can start whatever legal process they see fit. They would still be without freedom and have to answer to someone.

If they are uncooperative then black-site them after a Marine raid. I would like to see what the FBI or anyone for that matter would do to a bunch of Marines with an order from the President in hand.

This investigation is a political set up from the beginning. Our law enforcement leadership has gone corrupt and rotten to the core. Its a race against time for Trump and these corrupt law and Intel top level leadership to see who can get to the finish line first. Make no mistake about it. Mueller Reportedly Investigating Ukraine Payment To Trump Foundation

Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly investigating a $150,000 donation made to President Donald Trump’s foundation by a Ukrainian steel magnate in September 2015.

The New York Times, citing three unnamed people with knowledge of the matter, reported on Monday that the inquiry pertained to a payment Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk made to the Donald J. Trump Foundation for a 20-minute video appearance by Trump to a conference in Kiev.

The White House didn’t immediately return HuffPost’s request for comment.

The review of Pinchuk’s payment is part of Mueller’s larger probe into streams of foreign money Trump may have had access to in the years leading up to the 2016 presidential election, the Times reported.

Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen reportedly personally solicited the donation to the foundation.

Cohen’s New York offices and hotel room were raided by the FBI on Monday in an apparently unrelated probe.

Ukrainian funds were also at the center of the indictment of Trump’s former campaign chair, Paul Manafort, when a federal grand jury brought forth charges against him for allegedly laundering millions of dollars in funds he accrued while working for former pro-Russian Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

Apparently donating to foundations is only a problem if your last name is not Clinton.

Daniels was paid by the LLC that Cohen set up, Essential Consultants. The NDA that paid Daniels was administrated though the LLC.

Legally, it would have to have been the LLC that would have taken out the mortgage loan from the bank, not Mr. Cohen, unless he was recorded as the managing member of the LLC, and then only if it were a multi-member LLC (since a single member LLC is a disregarded entity).

So who were the other member(s) of the LLC? Trump?

Why would an LLC take out a mortgage loan (unless it owns a mortgages property)?

As a real estate developer, I am sure Trump is familiar with the establishment of LLC’s to hold and manage real estate holdings.

Who approved the reappropriation of the mortgage loan to pay Daniels?

Some interesting questions in this can of worms!

US citizens cant be black-sited.
Marines cant arrest civilians.
Civilians arent subject to military justice.

Keep it in the system we have and fight it from there. Exhaust every single action possible before drastic forms of redress of grievances.

Well all I have to say is this investigation better prove collusion, if they wait til the 2020 election to reveal some kind of grey crap during the 2016 election it’s going to backfire. I am beginning to think that is there end game, drag this treasonous bull crap out as long as they can continuing to sow dissent. And yes, it was debunked the second Mueller conceded Trump wasn't an actual criminal target.

Fire him, and deal with the backlash later. No one is impeaching Trump, period. Worthless ineffectual GOP can't even get their act together to pass our agenda through congress, they sure as hell won't find support for impeachment. Really for any reason.

First, if you look at the document giving directions to the Special Counsel, the scope was much wider than just the Russia collusion issue. It included "any" criminal conduct uncovered during the investigation.
Second, the target designation has to do with internal DOJ procedures. If a prosecutor contemplates calling a person in front of a grand jury, under DOJ rules they must send a "target letter" to the person. During the 40 years I practiced in the federal courts, I saw a lot of people who were initially told, "you are not a target at this time" (which is the phrase Mueller used, who ended up being indicted. The "target" designation has absolutely nothing to do with a prosecutor's ability to indict later.
Finally, the fact that a judge issued a search warrant for a lawyer's papers tells me that Cohen, at least, is in real trouble. To get such a warrant for arguably privileged materials requires a strong showing that the lawyer and client have joint criminal culpability. There are a lot of hoops that have to be cleared to get this kind of warrant. It has to be cleared at multiple levels at Justice, including, unless they have changed the rules recently, the AG. So Sessions is probably in real trouble.
