I am so sick of racist comments directed towards whites

I'm white. I am also a big fan of Dave Chapelle. And Dave does alot of bits where he pretends to be white and they crack me up. I think we all need to learn to laugh at ourselves. No one is trying to put "Whitey" down by making fish have trouble high fiving (by the way I think it's pathetic that that would bother anyone, but to each his own).

I'm also Italian and if someone tells an Italian Joke, I can find humor in it because I can laugh at myself. I think it was different when Italians were coming off the boat like my grandfather did around the turn of the century. The jokes then had a lot of hate in them....I don't think it's the same on the whole today....actually not even close.

Bottom line: I'm white and I do dance funny, I can't jump and I probably have a 50/50 shot of hitting a high five on the mark. Do blacks even high five anymore? I think mostly white people high five these days. Blacks probably look at whites high fiving and go, "Look at those silly white boys high fiving."

And if anyone has a problem with me saying "Blacks" instead of "African Americans," they are only words and they mean the same thing. Everyone is so worried about being politically correct it's ridiculous.

Let's start telling only alien jokes now so we don't offend anyone human on the planet. Give me a break!!

I watch Dave Chapel to and I think he is great.

Fair is Fair, though they can joke on whites, but whites are not suppose to joke back. When they do they are racist. Hey fair is fair.

Colin Quinn has been called a racist, along with Howard Stern and others. For there jokes.

You can be called a racist by the media for something you said 10 years ago. Mark Ferman.

This is not just about jokes and comedy. It goes in all aspects of our society.
PC has made it where whites sit by and say nothing, because they are afraid of offending anyone. While everyone else can say anything about whites that they want.

Also, Eddie Griffith, Chris Rock just to name a couple of other black comedians. You can't take their talent to make people laugh from them.

Question to all? Did our forefathers come here from England, Ireland, Italy, Africa .......etc. to be "English, Irish, Italian, African ....etc." No they came here to be "Americans". So what is the offensive part you all are looking for? italian American, african American, irish American...etc. We are all Americans. So be proud to just be an "American" as our forefathers where.

I did not come here to be anything but Me. I do not define myself by my flesh or locale or social status or gender, etc. I am my mind. Perhaps that is why I do not find all this stereotyping offensive. Because I am simply not offended by the viewpoints of people that could not possibly know what they are talking about. Stone cold funny. Laughed until my sides hurt. Another great skit was 'The Niggars' (the last name of a white leave it to beaver type family so nobody takes it out of context). Laughed until I cried.

I will admit I find one thing offensive. There are a lot of immigrants moving here say in the last 20 years or so, that want to live here in this country but refuse to call themselves Americans. That I do find offensive.

My first wife is Lebanese Armenian, and her whole family lives here but they do not consider themselves American. They consider themselves Armenians that happen to reside in the United States. I personally think that is messed up.

I find it funny that Snowman9 and others blast blacks who make fun of whites like they're such a bad influence on America. I guess you didn't catch what they say about black people. Come on, it's a two way street.

What really is racist were the cartoons of the early 20th century. Now THAT was brainwashing propaganda. Besides, how can one comment in A Shark's Tale (which I agree is a pretty lame thing to get mad about) upset you so much when the media is DESIGNED to brainwash and corrupt people. Well i have to say that all the jokes were funny , but i think what snowman was getting at was that something like race shouldn't be something that is poked fun at in a childrens'(or family) movie. there isn't a person here who hasn't laughed at a mexican,white,black or asain joke. but the point is ,Is it right for your kids to be repeating these same jokes at school? As adults we can see the humor ,but as children they might not completely get it. To call someone that in there culture is like calling then an object as opposed to refering to them as a person.

I don't know if any of you guys know this about Chappelle show but the co-writer Neal Brennan is very good friends with Dave and Neal is also white and he also co-worte Half Baked as well. Those two make some of the best comedy.

I feel like alot of you,I laugh about racist jokes but snowman is right about the double standard,it sucks.They may be jokes but it all depends on how the people take them.Some people take it more than a joke.People are brainwashed by the media.There wouldnt be so many problems if the media wouldnt segregate networks so much.Stop making seperate channels for certain races,thats causing so many problems.They need to jsut throw everything together.Black people are still mad about the slave thing and I know this for a fact cuz one of my good friends who is black told me this.They just concentrate on how whites had black slaves and not on the obvious facts.Most white people had nothing to do with it.It's time to bury the hatchet it was 200 years ago its time to move on and stop using that as a scapegoat.

Well I kinda disagree with this statement.A majority of them think they are along with many other races which is getting kinda sickening due to the brainwashing of the media.All these people that are into mainstream hip hop dress the same,I see no individuality.Then they look at you like theres something wrong with you cuz you arent following the trends.They base their life on these rappers they try to emulate them and do everything they do.Its quite scary they are like zombies.An interesting experiment would be to wipe out hip hop to see how they cope.All the slang would be gone,the dress style would be gone.They would be left clueless and personally I think they would be better off so they can start thinking for themselves.

This is a bizarre comment. Aren't there Asian plants? or Asian rugs? or Asian clothes? They don't like "Oriental" because it's the white mans name for them. The same reason blacks don't like "'n-word'" or "colored"...those are words originally used by whites to describe blacks. Do you serious believe this? Tell me how this makes sense? Are you quoting Pat Buchanon here because he said that in 2025 we will be the minority in the country meaning 49% of the US will be white and the other 51% will be a combination of everything else: black, hispanic, asian, middle eastern, indian, etc. etc....(and this is debatable as well)

In 2025 there aren't going to be more blacks in this country than whites and there won't be more hispanics than whites...it's mathematically impossible. As of the 2000 census, 69.2% of the US is white, 12.5% Hispanic and 12.1% black. This info found at:
