Nice to hear from you old friend.

Anyone or anything that can induce fear or maintain confusion can then cause
an opening to exert control.

You might be referring to an essay I wrote on my old blog, which I deleted and
discarded, with no backup copies.

All this nonsense that gets pushed on us, that seeps into us, effectively is
forcing a form of MEDITATION on us.

It is effectively Meditation-rape.

Once we are in this state of UFO mania, or mysticism mania, or *cough*
"ATS mania" in general, we are much more easily programmable by
related MEMES.

There are of course "mystical things" one could claim.. but lets keep
this response 'clean'.

Just the sound of the mandolin rain as explained by Bruce Hornsby for me.
Bothered me as a child, but not a problem since 2014.

Not my intent to derail.

Dr.Vallee did an interview fairly recently and his response to a question was along the lines of "Yes! Being able to create something out of nothing." Again paraphrasing, however in regards to the actual line of inquiry we SHOULD be pursuing as opposed to what Elizondo , TDL & associates, Bigelow are dishing out it would seem we are being misdirected, no?

Compared to where the actual line of inquiry should be focused.

I only mentioned "manifestations" because we are still getting a handle on what to call it and what it actually is.
Trying very hard to stay out of the woo-pit traps.

Glad to see you back!

Humans evolved to believe in woo, there is no avoiding it. And... I think that 95% of all "woo"
is harmful.. both to believe in .. and if it's real...

There is barely any good woo in this world.

You are right... all this "Metal analysis" and "chasing footage and crashes" is the COVER.
pure and simple. There is NOTHING TO IT.

What we need to research, can't be filmed really... and can't be picked up off the
ground.

As others have said.. there are multiple agendas in all groups...

If "the gang" can get more people infected with antenna syndrome, there
will be more to pick over in a lab.

I know that sound pretty negative.

As this story dies down, even on fringe topic sites like this one I think that's all we have Kev. There were all those Projects - from Sign to Bluebook to AATIP, Condon, Condign and COMETA reports. People speculate and state their opinions.

But what it all comes down to is that old quote by J.Allen Hynek.

We don't have UFOs only UFO reports

Even today it sums up the whole phenomenon. We have reports of sightings, photographs & film of UFOs, supposed metals that fell off UFOs and radar tracks of strange objects. All kinds of things that suggest something is going on... but no good, solid, testable, falsifiable hypothesis as to WHAT, and no definitive proof that is irrefutable. There is a vague sense that we are dealing with the unknown because our science continues to fail to capture it.

So it seems 'they' are turning to what's going on in people's heads instead. Which may not even be real at all.

Or are they really studying something else and our perceptions are being managed?

None of the neigbouts heard or saw a thing, except for one who thought he heard a helicopter at the same time as the event (3 am) and went straight back to sleep.
I thought perhaps that the sound it made would maybe sound like the hum one gets accompanying sleep paralysis

What hum does one get from sleep paralysis?

I've never heard this before.

I used to get sleep paralysis as a child.. but don't recall any hum.

In a few of JVs case reports.. some people saw a helicopter, while
others standing nearby saw a UFO.

Was there 'down-wash' like with a helicopter?

It's fairly common among sufferers... I thought?? When it happens to me (which is rarely), it happens as I fall to sleep. There is a buzz in my brain, almost electrical, quite scary. For me, thats usually the moment were I claw myself back to the waking state. It's horrible.
And no, definitely no down draft. The thing was so close that I could have thrown a rock at it. But even at that distance, I couldn't see any structural detail... I reckon if I had thrown a rock, it may have gone straight threw it.
I have drawn maps, got aerial photos, drawn pics... if anyone's interested?
My apologies for the thread drift....

Spotted and dealt with, OMG that must have been one scarry night!

“Dealt with” sounds so ominous

Thanks for sharing

Yeah, it was terrifying... It's been 3 years+ now and nothing's ever been the same.
As far as it's intentions, I felt that it was totally neutral, inconsequential, towards knowing we were watching....... as long as we didn't mess with it's mission.
No scars, no burns, no sickness afterwards. No evidence on the ground, no mutilated cattle, burnt grass... Nothing.

I don't consider this thread drift.

If you were to ask my opinion, i'd say that you were having something very like a waking night terror
and may have infected your partner with conversion disorder (hysteria).

Not to say that there wasn't something "there", at least 'sort of".

this sort of phenomenon is exactly what is being studied as far as I know.

All the gun camera footage and physical samples are just cover for the rubes.. though a few
of the scientists do want to actually study the physical samples. It's possible that
some physical remains were "materialized".

I"m curious whether they have made more progress on researching "parasites"
than I have. That's my main curiosity.

I have written several letters, offering to share my data on "antenna syndrome"
to two different people over there.... "crickets".

Of course i'm probably classified as more 'experiencer' than "researcher". They
probably humor me more than anything.

They loved my papers on artifically intelligent buoyant plasmas, but that's
all so far. Perhaps that is telling. Don't know.

great link to pdf. I've downloaded and am currently reading. one thing that strikes home so far. describing the phenomena as a orb consisting of a charged nucleus surrounded by a plasma shell. I had an encounter as a teen with a glowing orb in my parents Livingroom one night that fits that description very well.

There have been a fair number of papers like that, especially from the
former Soviet Union.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were ahead of the the USA in the
"Secret Plasma Research War" that's (apparently) been going on
For a while.

There's a reason i went so nutso about plasma for so long..

People often think that "life" has to be a lot like us to possibly be real..
that's why most "space aliens" and "fantasy creatures" are basically
distorted forms of us.... "god" too... just a distorted form of us...

But life doesn't need to be like that.. not at all..

www.newscientist.com...

Just a humble example.. but it's science, not woo.

Also, David Bohm, one of the most famous physicists ever to live.. and possibly not far off of
Einsten level thinking..

"Bohm was surprised to find that once electrons were in a plasma, they stopped behaving like individuals and started behaving as if they were part of a larger and interconnected whole. He later remarked that he frequently had the impression that the sea of electrons was in some sense alive. "

Ref:

www.bibliotecapleyades.net...

In my mind, I think it's highly likely, that we are either executing in a simulation,
or we are heavily influenced by, or even immersed in a form of life, whose
sentience modifies the behavior of subatomic particles.

I.E

One of the most brilliant (and telling) thought experiments ever, the "Boltzmann Brain":

blogs.discovermagazine.com...

en.wikipedia.org...

I truly believe that we live in a Universe where Boltzmann brains do in fact exist,
and interact with other living things, via the Casimir Effect in the False Vacuum.

en.wikipedia.org...

en.wikipedia.org...

I in fact wrote a letter to Hal Puthoff on this subject.

But as I stated in the letter, I'm really a technologist (and screwball) and not
a "scientist".

So I Imagine that he laughed and threw it in the circular file.

But by ATS standards anyway (which are ridiculously low) I'd hope this sort
of thinking might really excite a few people.. that "woo" might just exist,
but not be what people think it is at all.

boltzmann brains. something's gotta observe the universe for it to exist. boltzman brains keeping a low entropy/ unequalibrium universe and as a side product strange manifestations and types of woo is an interesting idea.

probably could have a niche in the universe and be found wherever the vacuum exists.

to momentarily entertain the idea for a second I would imagine according to my paradigm that on earth in modern times much of the ufo phenomena (95%) is man made military, a percentage of the woo observed (manifestations, odd lights -including some ufos and many other perplexities etc) are perhaps excretions of boltzmann brain type sentient plasma eminating from the vacuum living like George lucas's mediclorians altering the universe around them purposely or not, and EM wave form vacua making up a physical mechanism for things like human antennae, psychokinesis, remote viewing and psychic ability.

I'm glad you understand.

There is no mysticism; there are only Boltzmann brains in the void interacting with the Universe.

And since "in the void" the arrow of time goes in both directions.. this one simple observation
even takes care of the "god problem".

At the very least, it's thought provoking.

I didn't mention:

en.wikipedia.org...

If the Casimir effect can apply to nanoscale structures in the brain/nervous system,
then this would solve the "quantum linkage to a non-quantum system conundrum".

If indeed quantum-level boltzman brains can "wiggle" the quantum vacuum to
communicate with us, via the Casimir effect and nano scale structures in our
brains..

that explains the "ugly truth", that practicing mystics CANNOT cause "effects"
"on their own". But they CAN communicate with "spirits" (possibly Botlzmann
brains) and the boltzmann brain entity could "wiggle the quantum vacuum"
to produce effects.

due to entropy, we can't wiggle back really.. but they can "wiggle us".

This is also part of the goat/sheep phenomenon.

If the "spirits" don't want to play .. nothing happens.

When they do.. stuff happens.

Only we don't know what their agenda really is.

all "hypothetical" of course.

*cough*
