It was obvious who actually started the violence for anybody who actually watched the live stream. Before any of the supporters of Confederate history threw a punch, they had objects thrown at them constantly, were pepper sprayed a few times, and had to dodge clubs and other blunt object attacks just to get to the park.

After an hour or so of this, some of them finally defended themselves and fought back. And just like the Israeli apologists who blame the Palestinians when they dare to defend themselves from harassment and ethnic cleansing, the media and leftist radicals put the blame on those who were defending themselves.

Its not wonder one of them snapped an went GTA on a crowd, assuming it in itself was not a false flag attack.

I don't think that's accurate, at least based on what the local churches were saying.

Why yes, there actually were a few things that could've been done to prevent this.

First off, the protest could not have happened period. That one's just a pipe-dream, but if the initial protest didn't happen, none of this would've happened.

Secondly, antifa could've just let these guys protest. I understand disagreeing with them, but c'moooonnn!!! You think a bunch of white supremists protesting the removal of a statue would've actually worked?? I highly doubt anyone would've decided NOT to remove the statue.

Unfortunately, neither of these happened, and two very angry groups of people who are literally looking for a fight met, and got exactly what they were looking for: a fight. Both sides are ridiculous, and both sides are extremely hateful.

Yes, the pictures of the black guy getting beat are pretty terrible. I also saw a video of a white nationalist being pulled into the crowd, all while being told "Get out of our streets". Well, how can he if you're pulling him right back into it?? There were cops nearby, but if they didn't save him, I'm sure his beating would've been just as bad as that other guys, if not worse.

As a minority myself, I'm getting extremely sick and tired of this #. You don't fight racism by being more racist. You don't fight sexism by being more sexist. You don't fight hatred with more hate. All any of this does is make more of what they're trying to get rid of.

It does appear that both sides did come ready to duke it out, but what "side" does Antifa represent?

They are anarchists, if I'm not mistaken. That does not make them "Leftists", as it realtes to modern US politics.

So the reporter would be incorrect.
