A former Capitol police officer will discuss the incidents of Jan. 6, 2021, in a new documentary, maintaining it was a set-up to trap former President Donald Trump.
"Everybody that was on the ground on J6, police officers and demonstrators alike, were all set up," Tarik Johnson said in a trailer for the film Capitol Punishment 2: The War on Truth, presented by From the Earth to the Moon actor Nick Searcy.

Despite pleas for help on Jan. 6, Johnson said he did not hear anything, not even from Capitol Police chief assistant Yogananda Pittman, who allegedly kept vital information about the protests from him.
Johnson, whose role was to evacuate lawmakers safely, urged for guidance from his superiors but did not hear back. So he took matters into his own hands that day, as seen by footage released by "Tucker Carlson Tonight" from inside the Capitol Building.

I know what happened. Trump and Bannon made a big deal of showing up in D.C. on January 6th. And Trump supporters, the SORE LOSERS that they are, had a hissy fit, and damaged the Capitol, attacked the police, and made a mockery of democracy.
They should be and will be punished. End of story.

FIRST ON FOX: The House select committee that investigated the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 failed to adequately preserve documents, data and video depositions – including communications it had with the Biden White House that are still missing – according to the Republican lawmaker overseeing the GOP investigation into the committee's work.
The now-disbanded "J6" committee, which was run by Democrats and included only two GOP members, has also failed to provide any evidence that it looked into Capitol Hill security failures on the day of the riot, Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration, told Fox News Digital.
Loudermilk said his staff has had difficulty gathering all the information it needs to investigate Rep. Bennie Thompson’s handling of the J6 investigation.
The Democrat-led House committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol failed to properly archive records, including documents, video of depositions and correspondence with the Biden administration, said a Republican lawmaker probing the panel’s work.

I have noticed quite frequently that the most TDS posters here are always new, they show up, hate on Trump and spout DNC talking points, then they frequently never come back under the same name once over say 200 posts.

At this point, as the events of Jan 6th are causing such turmoil in our current state of affairs, it would be wrong NOT to set up a real bi-partisan investigation, but this time, not allowing Pelosi's comms to be hidden. Investigate everyone involved. If it's found Trump did in fact cause an insurrection, that should be on record so we can remove him from all ballots. But if it's found to be more like this OP suggests, then trials and hanging should be next.

Would that be the same Tarik Johnson that was suspended for wearing a MAGA hat on J6 and then resigned before he could be fired?
Hardly what I'd call an impartial witness.

And the committee that investigated J6 was bi-partisan? Only Pelosi approved Republicans were allowed to take part, why was that?
Hardly what I'd call an unbiased investigation.
