Trying to lift huge stuff in gym for example and over pressuring the veins can lead to a heart attack in these circumstances. Thats why I said less, but you can bike (no long periods of uphill tho).

good luck sending you virtual ((((((((((((hugs)))))))) and saying a prayrer...come back with a follow up...I have had a murmer my whole life but it is harmless...some murmers need to be fixed I only sopeak for myself........I missed the rude post that was removed...why do people do that in this kind of thread......so pointless

I was being treated for a breathing problem when it was discovered that I have an abnormal heart beat.I was told to see a cardiologist soon.I saw the cardiologist on thursday and I have a heart murmur with some thickening of the heart muscle. I am not sure what all this will mean down the road.I still have to go for more tests.

Irregular heartbeat is called arrhythmia. Depending on the severity. Pace make might be in your future.

Heart function declines. IED time. (Think what Cheney had).

Gets worse. Transplant.

And lastly medication.

Having been dealing with CHF for the last seventeen years. Needing a transplant early on.

My last visit my heart function was almost back to normal. Even get to stop taking two meds.

It's a snippy way to live.

You most certainly have my prayers, don't lose hope though.

Mind is a big part of it as well.

No he was just really rude.

I am so overwhelmed by all the responses here.I checked my blood pressure
at the pharmacy before I left work last night.My blood pressure was 202/105
and I did have some minor chest discomfort as well.I gave my notice last night
and due to the circumstances I only gave one week's notice.

Ok thanks. It usually turns out that keyboard tough talkers are snivelling cowards with measurement issues and that is probably the case in this incidence.

I am so sorry you are going through this.....health issues can be very scary ....the good thing is that heart medicine has come a long way and is much more advanced. Believe it or not, heart murmurs are more common then you think. I have a heart murmur, but it is a birth defect ,so I've had it my whole life. You need to find out from your doctor what type you have....meaning, is it genetic, birth defect, a new medical issue, etc....That may ease your mind as to which treatment to look at, or not look at . And you may want to get a few opinions before you do anything. Research your doctors too, as it is always best to know your doctors qualifications. Where ever you live, ask around and see what heart doctors others have used, and their results. Word of mouth can be a powerful thing !! ....I will keep you in my prayers and send you positive healing vibes !
