LEOS arrived within two minutes...Saved lives.

That is damned good response time.

Someone up thread mentioned that this is a troubled area. It's highly possible there are more patrols in the area because of it.

This was the context of the Chief mentioning Ramadan.

same person attacked a person in that work place in 2014.

What the hell was he still doing there? With this guy's history and attacking another employee, they should have got rid of him a long time ago.

It's possible there was a program to hire ex-cons or troubled youth or something like it, or this boss really felt like giving this person a chance, and a chance, and a chance, until it got to be too much.

I connect with a lot of industrial and commercial clients. I have been to industrial laundry operations where 70% of their workforce were current convicts on a work release program that were allowed to work during the day, back to prison at night. The remainder were mostly ex-cons that continued to work there after release.
Rough bunch there, but the work release people behaved themselves nicely, they didn't want to screw up that gig.

I've never heard or seen the mention of killing others. Suicide is mentioned.

I could be wrong but I remember reading that suicidal people don't value their own life or life in general for that matter. So anyone's fair game, think murder/suicide. The two sometimes go hand in hand.

Side effect warning labels need to include murder/suicide. Maybe then people would take drug warnings of possible suicide more seriously.

Suicidal tendencies brought on by a drug reaction would be harder to detect. Unless the person sought help for their symptoms or had a history of suicidal behavior, violet outbursts could seemingly come out of left field.

It only takes one to cause the problem because he can't leave the life.

I get what you're saying. A lot of people who come out do want to get right and know they're marked and should stick with that they have and not screw it up. But then you have the ones who just can't make that break, and there will always be a few.

He was 45 years old, so that blows the troubled youth theory, and based on the sheriff's description of his minor criminal past, he wasn't an ex-con either. Guess we'll just have to wait to get the real story.

His family and/or friends most likely know why.

Either that or he was a good boy who would never do something like that.

I would imagine the majority of US businesses do not allow firearms on their property.

I highly doubt this was drug related. With a shop called Gerber Collision and Glass, it's more than likely a chop shop. Employee was prob fired from their day job but still working the night shift. If ya know what i mean.

Mom can know and still go with the good boy story.

Chances are he has vented many times to a person or two.

Initial reports were wrong.
