Let's put it in context! He said he was a "smart cookie" on the way he gained power at such a young age. Conveniently ignoring the fact on how Kim executed his uncle and military advisors who questioned his authority. It clearly shows how Trump justified his rise to power giving his approval to Kim's immoral murderous behavior in doing so. To ignore that fact is stupidity and ignorance.

Ah... this interview is just the tip of the iceberg, classic stuff haha. I think Trump's jedi senses is spot on.... The reporter sounded like a fascist douchebag!

You can't imply further meaning in words and accuse those who don't read it the same as being stupid or ignorant.

That doesn't work in argument, we all have watched and read the same words. Just because you came to a different conclusion with no evidence doesn't make anyone who disagrees stupid.

It's all opinion and not fact. Again, please stop speaking in such extremes, you won't convince anyone. If anything you'll bolster their argument.

As long as it is a (D) passing orders and lying it's ok? It shouldn't be ok at all but it has evolved to the norm.
a reply to: JinMI

I never said it was OK. I said executive orders were legal under our current law, so you really can't condemn a president for breaking a law. I than said executive orders have a potential to undermine the foundation of our nation.

Many ATS members here, including myself, have criticized Obama about his executive orders. Those same critics also need to recognize Trump has already signed 78 executive orders! Our system of checks and balances was created to prevent Presidents from becoming dictators and passing poor legislation or sending our troops into conflicts.

Again, not justifying lying on Obama's end or past presidents, but there's no comparison to the amount of blatant lying, threats, and outrageous rhetoric Trump has been involved in.

Those EO's that would even come close to undermining our system are currently working their way through the courts. Trump can't breathe sideways without someone taking notice and action if there is ANY legal ground. He may be a lot of speculative adjectives but he is also ABSOLUTELY watched in everything he does. I would argue more so than any past POTUS.

And has anyone on ATS mentioned that Trump has invited the dictator of the Philippines to the WH?

Didn't this dictator get voted in by the people? He said during his campaign that if he was voted in he would have open season on anyone selling drugs or who are corrupt... Well he got voted in and kept to his word...

Where is the approval.... calling someone smart is not approval too.

Who is the dictator of the Philippines????,,,

I know their current President was democratically voted in and currently has a 90+% approval rating... Has someone else gained power who I do not know about???..

RA

Hes not a dictator. There is a huge drug and crime problem across the nation. My wife is from the Philippines, im heard many of the stories from people who used to live there. Duterte is actually trying to fix the problem. Prison doesn't work and the police are very corrupt.

Hes also making deals with China and moving away from american influence. Best move he could make. Hes popular for many reasons. But i guess some people just don't like him, probably because he isn't a socialist.

Haven't you heard, any leader who doesn't want open borders, hard drugs freely available for children so they can be 'cured' with more expensive drugs, fully legalised abortions, transgender bathrooms and free money for everyone who doesn't work (paid by those that do) is a dictator.

Your posts get more ridiculous every day. Your name is the most ironic on here.

Sounds like something Spicer would say. You don't have to watch CNN to realize Trump couldn't handle the question so he got all mad and took his ball home. Trump is a snowflake.

You got some proof of that accusation that he is SPicer? Otherwise its against TnC to call someone someone else who they are not correct? just thought i would point this out.

Na his posts are great. Like this one, comical and accurate. I know, it kinda sounds ridiculous, but thats only because advocating for all that stuff is ridiculous. There is always room for some moderation of course, but as history shows us, rampant out of control socialism is never the answer.

Your name implies you sit in the middle... that you don't choose sides. Which just isn't true given your posting history. Quite ironic indeed.

My name represents my political leaning in general. As in during discussion of the usual issues. Some of my views are left of centre; others more right. I am vehemently anti trump. I am also anti Hillary. As a UK resident I am anti labour, and anti conservative. Being on the fence politically enables me to avoid partisan politics and the ATS team-based nonsense.

Interesting. So you would be an actual liberal, not one if these socialists that think they're liberals. I to am a liberal, although i tend to lean a bit more right on most issues. The left still has things to offer from time to time and therefore must be considered. I am pro trump, but i don't really like him. I wouldn't go for drinks with the guy after work for example. But given the candidates, he was the only one i could support. Hillary is a plague upon this earth. As a Canadian, i am anti-conservative and very, very anti-NDP.

I look forward to discussing and debating issues with you in the future.

Well you could have at least linked the post where I asked if he was Spicer. The post u linked I did not say he was Spicer, I said it sounded like something Spicer would say. Spicer justifies every stupid thing Trump says and so does lesmisanthrope so I feel the comparison is valid.

I've gotta give him credit.

From 8:07-8:08 Trump is probably the most honest and truthful he's been since the announcement of his candidacy.

For one glorious second the truth finally erupted from his lips.

Very funny. Talk about the favorite line of Trump supporters... "Trump won, get over it." Maybe they should follow their own advice...Obama and Hillary is not the current president, get over it!
