Just imagine if the spent all that money giving free stuff to people that don't belong here on their infrastructure instead.

Maybe the lights wouldn't go off.

The Pentagon have warned that the entire country could be plunged into darkness following an imminent EMP attack by North Korea.

The Pentagon’s technology division, Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DAFRA), are urgently developing ‘alternative communication networks’ in the event of an attack.

These are all cities where illegals feel safe in. Thats the connection. they are getting a taste of selected power punishments to come. As in the government cutting them off from the grids power for their disobedience.

It is more than that, 3 major cities are affected. New York City, LA and SF. link
Not sure of restore status or adverse impacts at this time for any locations, if any.

Liberals who run these areas are spending all their menial mental energies with Trump-hating activities, and neglecting their own people. Schumer-NewYork Waters/Pelosi-California

If liberals were even a fraction obsessed with these things as you are with them, the country would really be in trouble. We'd all be ready for the nut house.
Your statement is absurd.

We need more of these random power outages. It is good doom porn. I want twenty cities to go. Just like making an order at the drive through at McDs

Does anyone know if the power is still out in these cities or if any more cities have been effected?

the thing I've noted about all of these outages isn't the actual outage, but the reactions off the people. everyone is saying "we were scared" and "we didn't know what to do". bigger outages have happened and have gone mostly unnoticed/unreported.
timing.
and if a few hundred thousand people get a little freaked out by a temporary loss of power, God help us all when the real deal goes down.
I see weak people...

I don't know if people are weak, maybe just a bit unprepared. Plus I think it demonstrates just how frayed our nerves are with the nonstop bull#.

There are any number of things that can cause a large power outage. What you have to understand is that our power grid was built in the 1950's and 60's with a projected life of 50 years. It's 2017 now and no one wants to spend half a trillion dollars to update it. Patches and repairs of failures happen but it will continue to degrade until enough people lose power for unacceptable periods. Maybe then this issue gets moved to the front of the line.

The updates saying this was not linked to other city power outages. Also, the substation fire as the cause. Maybe it's really a test to see the consequences of a city when the electrical grid is shut down. Not far from what's been discussed lately with all this NK war talk of EMPs?
SFGate source Doesn't seem like there was much chaos besides typical outage issues and traffic. Imagining if it were to go beyond a few days the outcome would be much different. That's not even delving into internet addicts unable to access the web and people unable to charge cell phones-considering their local towers were still on,etc.

So the new doom porn is NK have now managed to build an EMP big enough to shut down the whole of the USA?
I find that extremely hard to believe, let alone them being able to detonate it.

I wrote it like that for the phonetically pronounced way to verbalize SF and LA to be illustrated in a written manner.

I didn't expect the intellectual fortitude of AY TEE ESS contributors to be stumped by this.
Evidently so, however.
To my shagrin.

Anyway...back to the subject at hand...

I have a strong feeling these power outages may have something to do with a test.
I feel the inevitability of a scenario similar to the ones portrayed in the TV drama "Jericho" and the Guardian's comic feature "Project Blackjack" coming to pass in our near future.
Blackouts would be prominent features in these scenarios.

Fun fact: the date of the first nuke in Project Blackjack is on June 22nd.
The time between 9/11/01 and 6/22/17 is 15 yrs, 9mo, 11 days...

...interesting...Chronomancy at play?

I think it's a pretty safe guess that it was North Korea hacking the US power grid. Stories about their capability to do so were common a month ago but as this confrontation has heated up to pretty serious levels, they are now not part of the current coverage anymore, which is an indication of how serious things have gotten.

And now there seems to me to be a lot of disinformation out there on this story, and disinformation means a coverup. The scale of the coverup is pretty big so the story would also have to be big and serious. That also points to the current ongoing confrontation with North Korea to be what's going on here. That's big and serious enough to fit the bill.

Why is the US confronting North Korea now?

Neoconservatism is a generational movement and that generation is very old now but still in power behind the scenes. They are trying to prove that their ideology was not insane and villainous all along and most of all they are desperate to demonstrate that it was not a failure. They want to achieve victory before they die. The problem is, to everyone other than them, Neoconservatism has been an obvious failure for over a decade now.

So now Neoconservatives are even beginning to do desperate, stupid things, like this unnecessary confrontation with North Korea, as if they could really vindicate their life's work before they die. It's a clear demonstration that their day has passed, their minds are gone, and they should be stopped or they will take us all with them.
