Because Obama was actively campaigning with Hillary. Because that was necessary for his legacy. Because they are in the ame party. Because he spoke fo her at the DNC. Because he has just moved Valerie Jarret into his home and announced that they will continue fighting Trumps policies.

That's a casual definition of treason. If you're going to make a legal charge against someone, you need to be using the legal definition, otherwise you're going to overreach in court and the person you charged will be found not guilty. In the US there is a specific definition for treason, it's given in the Constitution and I wrote it out for you on the previous page.

Trump is prone to sensationalist language, so he inflates things. Nothing Obama has done would count as treason.
