Do tell us Sofi... Why is it that the left-wingers news can claim that "conservative news sources are fake" and are calling for everyone to boycott them, and stop them from earning money but that does not infringe on freedom of the press?...

Where is your cry of disgust at the fact that Facebook, Google, Yahoo, etc, are being monitored by a company tied to far left-wing liberal billionaire George Soros and deciding what is real news and what is fake news?...

Where is your cry of disgust at the fact that left-wing media started claiming only left-wing sources are "true sources of news"?...

You claimed Trump attacked journalists who are being persecuted, etc...

Good grief. I certainly did not. I said "the most disparaging analysis highlights the negative impacts of Trump's anti-media statements on imperiled journalists in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Internationally, the Free Press often isn't: journalists routinely are tortured, imprisoned and beheaded in many countries. For seeing things differently than their rulers. For telling the truth.

But they keep on keeping on, in large part because of the USA. Because America has always been a beacon of freedom. Of democracy. But now, alas, it's not. Lady Liberty's guiding light has been extinguished. Internationally.

All of which has nothing at all to do with US partisan politics. Nothing. De nada. Rien. Niks. Asge. Ikke noget. Wala. Nichts. Pa gen anyen. Tidak ada. Kahore. Lutho. Waxba. Không có gì.

Nihil."

Your OP claims Trump said journalists "enemy of the people". When did he say that? As far as I Know he said the Media is the enemy of the people, which is true. Why are you lying?

Who do you think makes up the media? Journalists makes up the media that's who. You really should stop trying to be intellectually dishonest you fail pretty badly at it.

There's a fine line between journalism and propaganda. Unfortunately you have to be a propagandist to see it.

I was wondering the same thing I don't think people know what a dictator is anymore. That doesn't surprise me hell this used to be a great site for conspiracies .. Now it just seems to be a platform for political bashing .

The OP references 'foreign' press, not US media. Their words, not local. Hence the title "Around the World."

Accepting that other countries and continents like Asia and Africa have more direct experience with "dictators" and "dictatorships" than the US (other than justifying military expenditures to deal with same), they might be considered by some to be more qualified to comment.

Also, accepting that "people (don't) know what a dictator is anymore" - here is a quick primer from study.com:

What Is a Dictator?

A dictatorship is a form of government characterized by the absolute rule of one person or a very small group of people who hold all political power. …

…Dictators make unilateral decisions that affect their countries without having to consult any other branch of government. …Human nature being what it is, dictators don't rise to power for the good of their nations (though they usually claim otherwise). They seize power to benefit themselves, their families and their close political allies.

A cult of personality often surrounds a dictator, driven by myths - typically perpetuated by the government-controlled media - about the ruler that are designed to build him up in the minds of the citizens as …the only one capable of bringing prosperity to the nation.

the people living in a dictatorship have no rights of free speech, freedom of religion, a free press or even the right to hold an opinion in opposition to the ruler
….

Hope that helps.

No offense, but that sounds like what you guys down there had EVEN BEFORE Trump. For a great many election cycles too.

Except that Trump was attacking left-wing news sources in the U.S. for their biased news, exaggerations and lies. Could you post links to Trump's anti-media statements on imperiled journalists in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa?...

You seem to think that there are no state controlled media in other countries. Are you aware of how corrupted things are in Africa and the Middle East like the Iranian government owned newspaper you linked?

www.dw.com...

Yes, there are some good journalists still trying to bring out the truth out there, but they are few. Plenty of "world governments" are in bed with the globalist goal of having a socialist world order.

For how many years people like you were claiming that was not happening in the U.S., and look at what the left-wing press, and left-wing powermongers are doing. Presenting false claims as truth, and claiming only they can say what is "real news and what is fake"... That is how dictatorships are formed, and it is the left in the U.S. at the forefront of trying to implement yet another left-wing dictatorship, in which only left-wing sources can parrot propaganda as truth. Like I wrote earlier, if you had lived longer in Cuba, you would know.

LOL, what?... I don't drink sweetie. Just because I disagree with your narrowed view of thinking anything President Trump does is evil doesn't mean I must be drinking...

Again, look at some of the examples I gave. All presented by the left-wing media as the truth, yet they were lies, and trying to give crazies in the left the idea of murdering President Trump and vice President Pence so that you could have another of "Obama appointees" for President until a new election was called. You know, since the last election wasn't rigged enough by the left to allow them to win...

Yep most if not all these stories are the NWO propagandist in their death throws trying to sway the weak minded over to their failed socialist communist sides where mayhem rains supreme with their utopia of open borders and death to the citizens..

Trump has been trying to reverse a century of Elite manipulation and all the elites and masses of ignorant foolish people are opposing his efforts. Read Antony Suttons books and you'll have a better understanding of the manipulation by secret societies like Skull and Bones.

Bull. At best he wants to replace the ruling elites with himself and his cronies. The man is corporate and operates globally. He has no intention of cutting himself off at the knees. imho - he is using populism and the people to secure a better place at the global table. Also imho - he is being used by whomever (flip a coin, pick a card), and will soon learn he needs to keep them happy or else he'll be replaced by the next puppet. You know, the one waiting in the wings.

I am well aware of the long-standing economic liaisons, and the equally long history of mass manipulation used to forward the elite's agenda, now manifest in the global corporate structure. [And btw, have written about it a fair amount.]

Happens I just don't believe in 'Messiahs.' They're ALL just playing Monopoly. The version with pawns. (That's us big guy.)

You need to step back, take a deep breath and open your eyes.

Seems that like most politicians he is just using that which already existed before he was elected.

But hey, when you expect a broken system to fix a broken system you cannot be surprised when you get more broken.

Maybe it's time you Americans started being that Democracy thing you're always telling the world you are (and forcing onto others) and do something about it. You know like a real Democracy.

Seriously you think he is the only politician making use of services created by and for politicians?
What amazes me is how many Americans seem surprised by things that people have been doing forever.

But that's humans for you. We only notice things are wrong when it is someone we don't like doing them. If Hillary was elected she'd be doing the same # and her supporters would be defending it and the Trump folks would be crying.

But yeah left or right, people will not see they have more in common with the other team than not. And the biggest thing you all have in common is you're all getting screwed regardless of who is in government.

Keep on voting though and fanboying the team colours like it matters. It's exactly what the powers that be want.
While you're too busy dividing yourselves, you're at least not uniting against them.
