Meanwhile, Rioting Breaks Out In Sweden

Interesting news at the link (pictures, news video) of a riot in Sweden (same area the 60 minutes team was attacked previously). Masked men hurling rocks, burning cars, assaulting police officers.... How long will they take this before arresting and deporting these troublemakers?

Both Dagbladet and Expressen reports riots breaking out in the highly immigrant concentrated Stockholdm borough of Rinkeby, Sweden with police firing warning shots as 100s of young people throw stones and burn cars. 7-8 cars have been burned in the area. Rinkeby is the region in which the '60 Minutes' crew were attacked in 2016.


The problems Sweden faces integrating large numbers of Muslim immigrants is a subject on which Nordstjernan columnist Ulf Nilson has written many times. His warnings of increasing radicalization among Sweden’s Muslims – warnings he started to broadcast a decade ago – now seem eerily prophetic in light of an Associated Press investigation that found Stockholm to be a breeding ground for jihadists among Swedish Somalis.

According to the AP report, which first ran Jan. 24, an al-Qaida-linked group is busy recruiting anti-government fighters among Somali youths living in Rinkeby. A suburb of Stockholm, Rinkeby has earned the nickname of “Little Mogadishu” because of the number of Somalis living there. Rinkeby is also the center of the recruiting efforts of al-Shabab, a group with ties to al-Qaida.

Meanwhile, Fox news backpedals over Shep and Chris' comments. There must be a rift forming.

ETA: There was a thread up earlier. It got hopped on by a bunch of derailers. I took a break and went to the range. It was a nice day. I also took the time to look up exactly what is taking place over there in Sweden.

Seems there are two story lines. The government controlled press' ... and the truth. How the government has managed to suppress what has been filmed and published amazed me. Thanks to all the ATSers who've made an effort to expose the real deal.

So, was Mr. Trump mistaken when he clarified on Twitter that he was talking about a show on Fox News?

Or is this another sign of his divine infallibility?

Indeed ... so the connection between his comments (as clarified by him) and the riots happening in a riot-prone area of Stockholm (for many many years) is tenuous at best?

Did you miss the part where at least one columnist has been warning about this for as long as a decade? Your common riots don't go back quite that far.

So how far back are your common riots?

It appears that the Swedish government is terrorizing their people by letting these chaotic people in. Are the real Terrorists the government officials? Why should the citizens of Sweden have to worry about going outside? Why don't their police shoot a few of these people doing this, a rock is a lethel weapon, they use rocks to kill people there in some of the middle eastern countries, stoning them to death. I suppose the leaders won't even let the police throw rocks back at them.

Blame this on some people in the Swedish government. Someone is trying to get the people to hate Muslims by allowing this to go on. Maybe it is because most of the media there is owned by a few Jewish Families, but I would think their media would be printing all sort of articles condemning the acts of the Muslims.

This is the failure of multiculturalism. If we must have many cultures instead of one, then we need to acknowledge there are some cultures that maybe we neither want nor need or at least that should never, ever be allowed into a country in any great numbers.

Why the hell would anyone lump all these different cultures together? This is a recipe for desaster right there. I envy some politicians so much. You don't need to use your braincells at all. Is there a facepalm smiley?

If you filter them in very slowly and get them later to help bring others in and recondition them to match the society in the new country it is not a problem. This has to be done slowly to avoid chaos.

We had lots of problems with mixed cultures when America was settled and also when new immigrants came into the country over the centuries. People have not changed that much, mixing people from different European countries even led to fights among citizens in the early times of our country. I mean the Italians even now don't get along with some people here that are not Italians, some Finns and Swedes do not get along well either. But many of the old ones are dying off now, but some of this distrust of others still exists in the kids.

Look at the internment camps during WW11. People have not changed nearly as much as many think when people start to fear something, things get irrational.
