Tarzan, my apologies for a late welcome to the Magical Shed.
a reply to: Tarzan the apeman.

Thank you for relating this song. It made me remember who I am at my core. A sailor. Not on one off the giant naval ships but a merchant marine.

Out there it is life and death with, not against, the waves, we have no power over their moods. All we have is each other. One accepts and respects the ocean. There is no blame or hate. A wave is a wave.

May you have a joyful respite in The Shed.

Seriously.

That is one thing that keeps me up at nite.

I really get nervous when the wind gets over 20 mph.

These tree's up here do not spread their roots deep.

I have never been down there.

I have so much to explore in my own area. I don't go far without finding something new.

I have heard the walleye fishing is great in that area.

Ya know Night, I love Stuffed Shrimp.

I have never made it myself.

We used to make a stuffed shrimp with crabmeat at the restaurant. And I would eat it a couple times a month.

Here where I live, getting fresh prawn's is impossible. So you have to go frozen. And you have to be real careful where they come from.

Things were going so fast. I'm sorry I didn't reply to you right away. I am multi-tasking tonite.

I am not a big Muskie fisherman. Good grief. 10000 casts.

But I have caught muskie, when I am walleye fishing.

Lindy rigging.

Ok folks, Hubby has The Walking Dead on and I don't want to miss anything. I'll pop back around midnight my time.

Kat, careful of those trees. When you have nice weather, maybe you should chop down the ones closest to your house.

Keep each other company! Love you all!

Night, all. I am about to drive to San Antonio from my hometown, which is about 7 hours away. So I won't be likely to post again tonight. Pleasure to meet you all, and I'm quite happy to be welcomed into your circle.

Just popping in real quick before hitting the haystacks and going to sleep.

Smoking it up and heading for its next stop to work the yard at Institute. Kanawha River Railroad train KN381 rolls north through Belle with a pair of ex-Southern Pacific SD40M-2s leading the way. Managed to get another friend of mine working, or hardly working, on a mixed freight yesterday evening. That's him hanging out the window........

You guys know how I got the freight train heading down the Virginian Railway back in August. If not, then here's a little reminder.

I did something yesterday that may have actually topped that previous experience on the "Richest Little Railroad In the World." The photos from yesterday didn't really tell the full story. With a heavy coal train in tow and a quartet of locomotives on the rear. As seven, yes I said seven, screaming Electro-Motive locomotives with six of them being SD60s leased by WATCO from Norfolk Southern. Shot at various locations along the line from Deep Water to Robson to Ingram Branch, West Virginia. Kanawha River Railroad coal train KN38 rolls south with SD70ACu 7250 along the former Virginian Railway.

... day 27... the incessant rain is matched only by the howling winds... daylight is struggling to lighten the foul dark grey blanket of cloud... we try to remain warm but our meager shelter has many draughts and the icy fingers of winter claw at every gap... rations are running dangerously low... I am down to my last 2 bottles of Scotch... thank God for the Rum... and the Gin... oh and the wine and beers... etc... that should be enough to see me through the Scotland v Wales Rugby match today!

Cue Wales' No.1 fan... Angelchemuel in 3...2...1.... !!

Good Morning Shedlings,
Hi Phishy! (& assorted furry dudes...)
Hoppy Burghday to BigB!
Swift Recovery to LittleB Dee!
Hello to Tarzan, Kat, WIS and night.... what are we going to get up to this weekend??

I'm watching the rugby (6-Nations) in about 6 hours time..... It's going to be a cracker!!!
Wish us and our Celtic cousins the best of luck?

Anyone want to trade weather?? Where's John when you need him?
Storm Doris didn't come to much where I am... but her tail has had a wee sting!
Horrible wintry rains and high winds and I think I'm losing my colour vision with all of this GREY!!!!!

BigG

PS - If you've never seen a rugby match.... This one is LIVE on BBC1 and you should be able to find it online somewhere too!
About 6 hours from the time-stamp on this post!. This is honestly one of the best sporting events that you can ever see... so go on, you know you want to!

Lol I can't see UK on the satellites. UK's literally a blind spot for me.

In any instances, right now I'm wayyy too busy trying to write my name using North American clouds and fronts.

I think I'm losing my colour vision with all of this GREY

Hehe lol welcome to my world mate! (I'm colourblind as a horse).

Rugby, eh? Sounds fun! I hope you guys win the game!

Here's to Scotland!
