Probably because they think after sixty years of preparing for war with the USA, they have a few tricks organised. They will be disappointed if nothing kicks off. You cant use nukes, if their nuclear facilities are bombed, they will be in Seoul in half an hour. If America wants to invade them, that means, an army many times that of the DPKR about 8 million personal. It's already what it is a Stalemate. The problem is a mistake, if any posturing is seen as a potential invasion then the world could have a problem.
Laverov gave Tillerson a good history lesson in Moscow, he tried to ignore it but looked like he had taken it to heart. After all these years of invading and destabilising, at some stage by the law of probability you stand the risk of getting your ass kicked. This could well end up being one of those times.

No wrong the sollution is to drop eleven hiroshimas on them in three waves. That will remove all the artillary from the rocky hills.

While this is happening Pyongyang needs to be nuked four times with 2 dozen MOAbs dropped on it. That will cut the chicken's head off then its lizardlike body wont know what to do while its being nuked.

Trump is going to kick there ass.

One nuke will bring in Russia and China . All of the North Koreans will be in the real deep fallout shelters.

One of the worst plans. People need to think big. Bigger.

It's a missed opportunity for Russia. Imagine Putin offering 50 rockets loaded with FOABs to use or give back unsealed as a gesture of good will and historical responsibility. Just bang! What? Yeah!
The whole crysis could be over without a shot and enviromental, humanitarian doom. With a brand new Russia finally replacing China on the global stage. Working together on casting out an old evil is a great opportunity for humanity, friendship and a progress.
This cold war mentality is a disappointment.

Russia and China learned that lesson the hard way and changed however N. Korea has not. That lesson is quantity does not beat quality.

North Korea is rocking the 1950's military hardware still. If the war resumes (it never ended, just a cease fire) North Korea will lose.

It's a tactical trap, with the NK playing on home soil, if America falls for it, it will all be close combat stuff, all the tech in the world wont be much use.

I don't know if this deserves it's own thread.

If it does. Have at it.

This article is about the Phillippines President visiting President Trump.

www.dailymail.co.uk...

If it has been posted before, sorry I missed it.

I placed a FoxNews article in the existing "Duterte Aligns Philippines with China" thread earlier. You're right, CrappieKat. Not deserving of its own thread until the meeting is set up.

Ohio Governor and former Presidential candidate JOHN KASICH, "gets it". Assassinate North Korean leadership. You'll relieve stress in the region, and potentially save a million lives.

And if North Korea talks about 'taking out' the leadership of another country, how is that received?

It would be perceived in the light of taking out the North Korean leadership first.

Also dont forget North Korea has tried to assassinate South Korea's leader before. In that instance the S. Korean president survived however his wife was killed. Un also assassinated his family members, the most recent being his half brother.

I wasn't aware of that. When did that happen? Have a link?

I heard about his half-brother being assassinated/murdered in an airport by 2 women with gas. How is it known that Kim Jong did him in? Was the brother trying to stage a coup, or something?

BTW.. when is it "assassinated", vs. "murdered"???

Thanks for that clarification. Kim's half-brother must have been a VIP, since all media said that he was assassinated.

The North Korean situation must be potentially, EXTREMELY dangerous. When Senator John McCain says that a war with North Korea is to be avoided to the fullest extent possible, you take note. He normally relishes the thought of military action.
